Kevin Durant had 23 points in his first game and was 10-15 from the floor. Durant looked fantastic and his effortless style of basketball fit in with the team right away.
The Phoenix Suns and Chicago Bulls have played once this season. The Suns dominated the game. The final score was 132-113. In that game, Devin Booker had 51 points. The Bulls are coming off a 117-115 win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night. Zach LaVine led the way with 41 points on 14-20 shooting. Zach LaVine should be eager to match his skills with former MVP Kevin Durant tonight.
With Kevin Durant in the lineup, the Suns are now the favorite to win the Western Conference. However, they will be going against teams that have been playing with each other all year and I would expect they are trying to get themselves as comfortable playing with each other as possible. Games like tonight are important for the team’s chemistry as they learn the best ways to help each other on the floor.

Just 7 days ago, the Sacramento Kings and Los Angeles Clippers played in the second-highest-scoring game in NBA history. The final score of that game was 176-175 for a whopping 351 total points. It was fun, the shot-making was fantastic, and of course, the player props that were bet on the overs cashed.
Now, the teams will rematch in Sacramento and the Clippers will be looking for revenge. However, the Clippers might be without their team’s leader Kawhi Leonard. The Clippers played last night and fell to the Golden State Warriors 115-91. Leonard has not played on a back-to-back yet this season. However, with the Clippers falling to seventh place in the Western Conference, maybe the Clippers will make a change tonight.
The Sacramento Kings are coming off a two-game stretch in Oklahoma City against the Thunder. The Kings won 124-115 on Sunday and followed that up with a 123-117 win on Tuesday night. In the first game, De’Aaron Fox scored 33 points. Fox sat out of Tuesday’s game due to left wrist soreness. Fox was a full participant in practice on Thursday, so I fully expect him to hit the floor tonight. The Kings will have the rest advantage in tonight’s game.
