After a slower start to the season, the Knicks have a chance to get home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs.
To make that push though, the Knicks are going to have to do well in their tough slate of games this week. The Knicks will play the East’s top team, the Boston Celtics, twice, as well as taking on the teams close to them in the standings: the Brooklyn Nets and the Miami Heat. This week could very well determine the Knicks standing for the playoffs.

Can Miami Break Their Losing Streak?
The Miami Heat need to turn things around. They have lost four games in a row, having lost 108-103 to the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday. The game featured strong play from Tyler Herro, Jimmy Butler, and recent signing Kevin Love.
Miami is desperately trying to end this four-game losing streak as they fall down the standings. They are currently 32-29 and they face a tough task going against the Philadelphia 76ers, who are 39-20. Miami is in 7th place in the East, which means they would be forced to win in the Play-In tournament to make the playoffs.
The Heat would like to make a push now rather than be forced to perform in the one game, winner-takes-all event.
Jimmy Butler
