NBA Pick: Klay Thompson over 27.5 points (-115) at BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review)

The NBA is back with a packed slate for Tuesday night action. More NBA means more opportunity to continue to make winning player prop wagers. Let’s dive right in for more winning NBA picks.
Portland Trail Blazers vs. Golden State Warriors
Tuesday, February 28, 2023 – 10:00 PM EST at Chase Center
The Golden State Warriors will host the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. The teams are very close in the standings. The Golden State Warriors are 31-30 and the Portland Trail Blazers or 29-31. Both teams will be looking to get the win to secure a crucial playoff position.
The talk entering this game will be Damian Lillard coming off a 71-point performance on Sunday night. The point prop for Lillard is exceptionally high so we will go a different route and attack the prop of Klay Thompson.
Klay Thompson
Klay Thompson put up 42 points on Friday night. He was 12-17 from the 3-point range. The Warriors’ player has been shooting better as of late and has picked up his production with his star teammate Steph Curry sidelined with an injury.
Thompson was not done, however. He put up 32 points and made six three-pointers when the Warriors defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday. Thompson has been on fire in the last stretch of games, and the Warriors need his sharpshooting to stay in playoff contention. Since Jan. 1st Thompson is averaging 26.3 points per game and is shooting 44.3% from 3. He is showing he is healthy by averaging 34 minutes per game, the highest amount since his injury.
Two of the league’s greatest shooters will square off tonight when Klay Thompson and Damian Lillard have their duel. There should be buckets all over the board as these two sharpshooters put on a masterful display. I’m not advising against a Lillard prop, I just believe that the Klay Thompson prop at -115 NBA odds is even better.
And, remember that bettors located in the Golden State can place their wagers at any of these California betting sites.

San Antonio Spurs vs. Utah Jazz
Tuesday, February 28, 2023 – 09:00 PM EST at Vivint Arena
The San Antonio Spurs and Utah Jazz will run it back after playing on Saturday. On Saturday, the Spurs had the lead at halftime but scored a woeful 37 points in the second half to fall 118-102. The Jazz were able to ramp up their defensive intensity in order to secure another win.
This game features Utah Jazz coach Will Hardy against his mentor San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich. These two will know each other well as Hardy made his name in the Spurs system and learned how to coach under the watchful tutelage of Popovich. Hardy has spoken about how much Popovich teachings have meant to him and how excited he is to have the opportunity to coach against an NBA legend.
Lauri Markkanen
Lauri Markkanen leads the Utah Jazz averaging 25.2 points per game. He scored 27 points in just 32 minutes against the Spurs on Sunday. Before that he scored 43 points against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Markkanen put up 29 points in his two games before the All-Star Game.
The Finn is making a push for the NBA’s Most Improved Player award. In a recent turn of events, Markkanen has become the favorite as his top rival for the award, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, has been sidelined with an injury. As his teammates push for him to win the award, it’s meaning more opportunities for Markkanen and he has been exceeding his season average in almost every game.
The San Antonio Spurs opted for the future when they traded away Center Jakob Poeltl at the trade deadline. This makes the Spurs weak in the middle, which is a prime opportunity for Lauri Markkanen to exploit. The 7ft player should have plenty of opportunities in the paint against the defensively deficient Spurs.
Tonight is a great opportunity for the Jazz to get a win against the NBA’s worst team. The Spurs have been losing by double digits consistently and tonight should be no different. Markkanen will have a huge night as he pushes the Jazz toward playoff contention and his own Most Improved Player award.
NBA Pick: Lauri Markkanen over 30.5 points (-104) at BetOnline
