The Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers made a trade last season with two players who are both in the All-Star Game this year. Domantas Sabonis went to the Sacramento Kings and Tyrese Haliburton was shipped to the Indiana Pacers.
Normally, I believe the "Revenge" narrative is overused. However, I believe this is a true revenge spot for Tyrese Haliburton and will be when these teams match up for most of his career.
Before the trade happened, the Kings' front office had assured Haliburton that they were building around him and that he was part of the team's future. Haliburton felt betrayed, blindsided, and backstabbed when he found out he was shipped to Indiana.
Tyrese Haliburton has made the most of his opportunity. When he was in Sacramento, he shared ball-handling duties with De'Aaron Fox. In Indiana, he runs the team and they are building around him.

The Pacers played last night and fell to the Los Angeles Lakers 112-111. It was a tough loss for the Pacers who had a double-digit lead in the 4th quarter but took the loss. Tyrese Haliburton had 26 points and 12 assists in his first game back from injury.
The Pacers struggled, going 1-10 without Haliburton in the lineup. The team looked much better in his return but fell short against the Lakers. Tonight, they will come together as a team to make a statement for their All-Star teammate.
