The Golden State Warriors welcome the Sacramento Kings on Monday evening and the NBA odds have the Dubs as double-digit favorites.
Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors

Kings’ Roster Issues
The Kings are coming off a big win last night against the Spurs, but a different beast awaits them on Monday across the bay. While this isn’t a real back-to-back for the Kings after playing last night at home, this will still be a tough game regardless.
Even though the Warriors are a wounded beast with Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole in health and safety protocols, Golden State still presents some issues for this Kings team playing on no rest.
Sacramento is even more banged up due to injury and health and safety protocols. Richaun Holmes has missed six straight games with an eye injury and De'Aaron Fox is in protocols along with rookie sensation, Davion Mitchell, plus Marvin Bagley III, Louis King, Alex Len, and Terence Davis.
Assuming all of those guys are out again tonight, along with the back-to-back, I doubt the Kings are able to muster many points against the Warriors’ defense.
The Kings haven’t played badly on no rest this season, but in their most recent game on no rest and on the road, they barely put up more than 100 points against the Cavs, a similarly good defense comparatively to the Dubs.
In that game, they had an effective field goal percentage of just 47.8% and their offensive rating was just 97.1 points per 100 possessions.
Now fast forward to Monday where they are much less healthy and against another good defense, and fading the Kings’ team total is where we need to look for value here at the top-rated sportsbooks.
The Sharp Pick
These two teams played earlier in the season in Sacramento and the Kings only got to 107 points. That was with three players who will likely be out tonight scoring 55 of those 107 points.
Combine that with the Kings faltering on the road lately and I doubt they get above 105 points here tonight.
The Kings have scored less than 105 points in their last two road games and they have scored less than 105 points in regulation of four of their last six road games. The two they didn’t were against a bad defense team in Charlotte and a wounded Clippers team.
Considering the Kings have been faltering on the road for a while now, assuming the Warriors’ defense is up to the challenge and most or all of the Kings who missed last night’s game are out, they should have their way with Sacramento tonight.
Add the under for the Kings to your NBA picks tonight.
