Will Boston Play Better Defense?
The Jazz (45-27 SU, 31-38-3 ATS) recently beat the Kings, Bulls, Clippers and Knicks but lost against the Bucks and Nets. Donovan Mitchell dropped 30 points on Monday's 114-106 loss in Brooklyn and he's averaging 34.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists in his last three games.
Jordan Clarkson has also been phenomenal, averaging 22.0 points and 6.3 rebounds in his last four games and the Jazz really need him to keep up his production off the bench now that Bojan Bogdanovic (plus-1.8 Offensive Box Plus/Minus) is out indefinitely with a calf injury.
The Celtics (45-28 SU, 38-34-1) are one of the hottest teams in the league right now, winning nine of their last 10 games, including four straight. Jayson Tatum is seeing more double-teams but Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart have been more aggressive offensively and their elite defense has sparked them.
"They have some talented guys that got going late. Could be the end of the trip or second night of a back-to-back, whatever it may be. … It's not always going to be the prettiest game, but we did well enough to maintain what we have, but we've got to be more focused."
