We’ve got a two-team moneyline parlay today with Golden State Warriors and the Miami Heat. Both teams are definitely better than their opponents but obviously, the game is not played on paper.
They are also both road favorites which is a tricky spot but that’s the beauty of the ML parlay. We just need them to win so with that, let’s break down some NBA odds and let’s see if we can cash this ticket.
Golden State Warriors vs. Boston Celtics

Warriors On a Mission This Season
The fact that some so-called experts had the Warriors missing the playoffs altogether in their pre-season analysis seems beyond ridiculous at this point. I'm not sure the Warriors will win the title this year but I do know that they will have a say in who does. So far through the first quarter of the season, Golden State is the best team in the NBA.
A lot has been made about Steph Curry breaking the NBA's all-time three-point record and rightfully so. The truth is, he's so much more than that and has to be the leading candidate for league MVP.
Tonight's Warriors travel to Boston to take on a Celtics team still trying to find their identity. Golden State doesn't have those problems considering they have a level of continuity other franchises can only dream of.
Even though a lot of the key pieces from their championship run are absent, two of their three best players (Draymond Green and Curry) are still there as is head coach Steve Kerr. What that means is all of the main ingredients for winning a championship are still a part of the franchise, especially with Klay Thompson's return to the lineup imminent.
That's why they come into tonight's contest as -3.5 point favorites. Some of the top sportsbooks have moved the line down to -3 with a few -2.5's available as well. This is a moneyline parlay though so all I need is a win from the Warriors here. My pick in this game is Warriors -145 which is the first leg of my two-team moneyline parlay.
Miami Heat vs. Orlando Magic

Heat Are Too Much for Magic to Handle
The word continuity does not only apply to the Golden State Warriors in this parlay. Miami has what they call "The Heat Way" which is a term that annoys me to no end but it's also valid. When you join the Heat organization, you know exactly what is expected of you because the "Godfather" Pat Riley makes things crystal clear.
Erik Spoelstra was hand-picked by Riley from within the organization and not even LeBron James could convince Riley to get rid of him (he certainly tried in the beginning). So when it comes to continuity, Miami is most definitely one of the shining examples of that in this league.
Tonight they come into this game against the Orlando Magic as -7 point favorites which is not great value for those of you looking to take on the Heat. The line opened at Miami -4.5 so whatever value there was pretty much gone in my opinion once that number crossed 6 points.
That said, this is a moneyline parlay so I'm not pleased by the increase in price but I'm very confident that the Heat will win so I'm fine with paying it. When you combine the Heat on the moneyline at -285 with the Warriors at -145, you get a two-team moneyline parlay that pays +130 which is available at Heritage. And that's my NBA pick for tonight, so let's enjoy and cash it!
