The Bucks are starting to be healthier as they head further into the season and now they are on the road in Denver for a matchup with a banged-up Nuggets squad. Which team to take for your NBA picks?

Will Joker Suit Up?
There is a multitude of injuries on the Friday slate here after Thanksgiving, but one of the biggest question marks this evening is the status of Nuggets center, Nikola Jokic.
The Joker popped up on the injury report as questionable on Thanksgiving after missing the Nuggets’ last three games with a wrist sprain.
If he can return, it will give a huge boost to the Nuggets at home and will likely cause these NBA odds to plummet back down closer to a pick-em.
However, if the Joker has to sit out a fourth straight game, the Bucks may have all the momentum they need to beat up the Nuggets, even on the road.
The Bucks have been on a roll lately, winners of five straight games. Some of their opponents during that stretch were pretty subpar though, as they have beaten the Lakers, Thunder, Pistons, and Magic twice during those five games.
That being said, the Bucks getting healthy is all they really needed to get out of their Finals hangover.
Beating up below-average teams is a major factor in getting back on track and back in the dominating swing, we know they can provide.
Before their recent win streak, they were banged up and couldn’t get consistent play from game to game.
Now that has changed though, as the Bucks have held opponents to just 95.8 points per 100 possessions over their last five.
The Sharp Pick
If the Bucks can keep this defense up tonight along with the potential for Jokic to sit out again, I can’t help but like Milwaukee here laying three on the road.
Even if Jokic returns from his wrist injury, there is a chance it doesn’t matter much for this game.
With Michael Porter Jr. out and now the ACL injury for P.J. Dozier, the Nuggets are extremely shallow on the wing defensively right now.
After Will Barton, the Nuggets won’t have much else on the wing besides Jeff Green and Aaron Gordon, who will mostly be taking turns at power forward and trying to stop the Greek Freak.
Against a Bucks team with a healthy Khris Middleton, that’s a handful because, without Dozier, no one is really qualified to guard him.
I could see a scenario where Denver sells out to stop Giannis Antetokounmpo and then Middleton or Jrue Holiday go for 25-to-30 points.
Without Jokic, that is a death sentence, so I’m watching today’s injury report closely. If we get word that the Joker has to sit out again, I’ll be on the Bucks laying the three points at one of BMR’s best sportsbooks.
