Philadelphia 76ers vs. Toronto Raptors

Thursday, April 28, 2022 – 07:00 PM EDT at Scotiabank Arena

The Toronto Raptors are trying to become the first team in NBA history to come back from a 3-0 deficit in a best-of-seven series. They are halfway there against the Philadelphia 76ers and will need some big performances from their best players at home.

OG Anunoby Prop Analysis

One of Toronto’s best players earlier in this series was OG Anunoby, who scored at least 20 points in each of the first three games. He shot poorly in Game 4 and finished with 11 points before putting in 16 points in Game 5 despite missing 7 threes.

While you could bet on Anunoby to get back to the 20-point range – his over/under for points in 18.5 – there are better NBA odds involving his threes. He needs to be a strong three-point shooter for the Raptors with guard Fred VanVleet likely still out with a hip injury.

Anunoby made 4 threes in both Games 2 and 3 of this series, and in the regular season, he made at least 3 threes in half of his games (24 of 48). The Raptors as a team have only made 8 three-point shots in each of the last two games.

In a big home game like this with the season on the line, Toronto must shoot better from deep. Anunoby is the best bet to make that happen as Pascal Siakam does not take enough threes and Gary Trent Jr. is far too volatile to count on.

Phoenix Suns vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Thursday, April 28, 2022 - 07:30 PM EDT at Smoothie King Center

The Phoenix Suns can close out the New Orleans Pelicans in Game 6. This series has been tougher than expected with Devin Booker’s injury, and the superstar will again be out for this important game. That should lead to another big opportunity for Phoenix’s other starters.

Jae Crowder Prop Analysis

One Phoenix player having a difficult series is veteran Jae Crowder. His three-point shot was off as he went 0-for-14 from three in the first three games. But Crowder is averaging 10.0 points per game over the last three games despite 5 fouls in each contest as he has been mixing it up with the Pelicans often. Road crowds love to boo Crowder, who can be an irritant.

But he is a player the Suns rely on, and with Phoenix hoping to end this series on Thursday night, Crowder could be in line for a good game to hit a little NBA parlay pick on Bovada in regards to his points and rebounds.

In the two games in New Orleans in this series, Crowder scored 10 or 11 points and had 4 or 5 rebounds. He can get to 10 points and 5 rebounds in this one, and that should be a better bet than hoping his three-point shot catches fire or that he dishes out several assists.

NBA Prop Pick: Jae Crowder to Have 10+ Points and 5+ Total Rebounds (+211) at Bovada

Dallas Mavericks vs. Utah Jazz

Thursday, April 28, 2022 - 10:00 PM EDT at Vivint Arena

The Dallas Mavericks can eliminate the Utah Jazz with a win on Thursday night. Dallas won the last game by 25 points and can clinch the first playoff series win in the Luka Doncic era.

Luka Doncic Prop Analysis

Doncic’s return from injury in Game 4 has gone well for Dallas. The Mavericks are plus-39 with Doncic on the court in these two games, and he’s scored at least 30 points and had at least 10 rebounds in both games.

Doncic has scored at least 30 points in 10 of his first 15 playoff games. He has had at least 6 rebounds in every playoff game. His assists have been down in this series with only 9 total, but he is always a triple-double threat any time he takes the court.

In fact, a 30-point triple-double is not out of the question for Doncic in this series. It will just come down to how well his teammates shoot because he is more than capable of scoring over 30 with double-digit rebounds again. I like him to get to 49 total points/rebounds/assists with his best passing game yet of the series.

NBA Prop Pick: Luka Doncic Over 48.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists (-108) at Bovada
