The Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are both solid home favorites in Game 2 of their respective NBA conference semifinal series on Wednesday vs. the Philadelphia 76ers and Dallas Mavericks, respectively. Here are two-player prop picks on each with odds from BetOnline, one of BMR’s top-rated sportsbooks.
Philadelphia 76ers vs. Miami Heat

How Was Prop Player Betting for Game 1?
Wow, we did not have a good Game 1 for this series. Thought James Harden would step up and be a star like he used to be and perhaps approach a triple-double – his over/under total was 42.5 points + rebounds + assists, but Harden continues to struggle from the field or even get shots as he looks out of shape and slow. He finished with 16 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.

We also picked Jimmy Butler over 5.5 assists with Kyle Lowry out of the lineup for Miami, assuming Butler would be the playmaker. Butler finished with three assists in 30 minutes.
We should have won that prop as I counted at least six makeable Heat shots in the third quarter on which Butler would have gotten an assist but they didn’t go down. Butler then sat for most of the fourth quarter because the game wasn’t in doubt. Now, let's move forward with our prop player picks for Game 2.
- To Have Double-Double
Lowry is out again and I do think Butler over 5.5 assists would be a winning play this time as long as Butler doesn’t sit out another quarter. But we’ll shift gears to Miami’s Bam Adebayo.
With Philly missing Joel Embiid (out of Game 2 as well), Adebayo dominated in the paint in Game 1 with 24 points on 8-for-10 shooting and 12 rebounds.
Dating to the regular season, he has shot at least 50 percent from the field in 21 of his last 22 overall games. Adebayo now has 11 total 20-point, 10-rebound playoff games, second-most in Heat history behind the 25 from LeBron James. I fully expect another double-double Wednesday.
- Tobias Harris Over/Under 19.5 Points
I have definitely given up on trusting Harden, so it should be Tobias Harris who is Philly’s primary scorer again in Game 2. He led all players with 27 points in Game 1 and also led all players with 18 shots. That probably would have been 20-plus shots if the game was close.
Plus, Harris was just 1-for-4 from deep. I’m surprised if his point total is so low for Wednesday's NBA Game 2.
NBA Prop Pick: Tobias Harris Over 19.5 Points (-115) with BetOnline
Dallas Mavericks vs. Phoenix Suns

Mavs vs. Suns Prop Player Betting for Game 1
Unfortunately, we didn’t do so well in this game Monday, either, in Phoenix’s 121-114 win. Thought the Suns would focus on Luka Doncic and hold him under 30.5 points, but Doncic was the only offensive force for Dallas by scoring 45 points with the likes of Jalen Brunson (13 points), Spencer Dinwiddie (8 points) and Reggie Bullock (7 points) all struggling mightily.

As for Deandre Ayton, we liked him to get at least rebounds and the Suns to win, which they did. Yet, Ayton had one stinking rebound in the first half. He bounced back with seven boards in the second, but it was too late for us. Let's move with our picks for Mavs. Suns Game 2.
- Over/Under 8.5 Points
I do like Bullock to at least score double-digits in this one as he was hampered by foul trouble in the opener and fouled out after playing 33 minutes. The Suns are going to give him open looks by doubling Doncic, he just has to hit them.
In the last round vs. Utah, Bullock averaged 42.3 minutes per game and 10.7 points. He topped 8.5 points in five of the six games. Dallas was 21-4 in the regular season when he scored in double figures.
NBA Prop Pick: Reggie Bullock Over 8.5 Points (-126) with BetOnline
- Over/Under 1.5 Three-Pointers Made
Jae Crowder’s made three-pointer number seems awfully low – although, he is one of those guys who if he makes his first one, you know he’s having a good night but if he misses that first one, his confidence seems shot. Crowder was 4-for-6 from deep in Game 1 and has made at least three three-pointers in five straight games.
NBA Prop Pick: Jae Crowder Over 1.5 3-Pointers Made (-113) with BetOnline
