We were 3-0 on our prop picks for Game 5 of the NBA’s Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and Heat. If you happened to parlay those three together like I did, it paid +433.

The series shifts to Boston for Game 6 on Friday. Here are three more NBA player prop picks on the matchup with odds from BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review), one of BMR’s top-rated sportsbooks.

Miami Heat vs. Boston Celtics

Heat vs. Celtics: The Matchup

ESPN has the telecast of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, and I’m here to tell you that this series ends Friday and the NBA Finals will not feature a conference’s top seed for the second year in a row.

The Heat finished with the best record in the East, and I simply don’t see them winning in Boston on Friday. Maybe they can cover the 8.5-point spread, but they aren’t winning barring an in-game Celtics injury to Jayson Tatum or Jaylen Brown.

Boston hasn’t been to the NBA Finals since losing in seven in 2010 to Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.

Tyler Herro's Situation

Like the Heat have done all series, they are listing half their roster as questionable for Game 6, but I’m assuming all will play other than perhaps NBA Sixth Man of the Year Tyler Herro, who has missed the past two.

Even though he has struggled in this series, the Heat have missed him from deep. They were an ugly 7-for-45 on three-pointers in the 103-90 loss in Game 5, the second-most missed three-pointers in NBA playoff history.

NBA Prop Bet: Marcus Smart vs. Bam Adebayo

  • Most Points

Our one Heat prop, then, will be on big man Bam Adebayo outscoring Boston guard Marcus Smart. Adebayo was about the only bright spot in Game 5 with 18 points and is shooting an excellent 61.3% from the field in the series. He has had a few clunker games points-wise simply because he isn’t getting shots, but with guys like Lowry and Strus struggling Bam should get his attempts here.

Smart, meanwhile, is not 100% with his ankle injury. The Celtics don’t need him to score, just defend and pass the ball. Smart had 5 points in Game 5 and could leave Friday’s game for good at any time with that ankle and with a good backup in Derrick White.

As of now, the top-rated sportsbooks aren’t even offering over/under points props on Miami’s Kyle Lowry or Max Strus, but if/when they do, I’d go under. They were a combined 0-for-15 from the field in Game 5, the worst 0-for by starting backcourt in any playoff game since starters were officially tracked in 1970-71.

NBA Prop Bet: Robert Williams III

  • At Least 2 Blocked Shots

Boston’s big man, Robert Williams III, is also playing through an injury that caused him to miss Game 3.

In the fourth game he has played, Williams has had at least 2 blocks in each. The Heat can’t shoot from the perimeter, so they may challenge Williams in the lane more.

He’ll get his 2 blocks barring leaving injured/foul trouble.

NBA Prop Bet: Jaylen Brown

  • To Have 3+ Three Points and Boston to Win

As I mentioned above, I see almost no path for Boston to lose this game barring something very unusual. So will Jaylen Brown get his 3 made three-pointers?

He started really slow in Game 5 but blew up in the second half and finished 5-for-9 from deep. He has hit at least 3 three-pointers in four of five games this series.

You can also get Brown at 4 made three-pointers and Celtics to win at +148, but I fear this may be another blowout, and 4 seems a shade too high.

NBA Prop Pick: Brown to Have at Least 3 Three-Pointers and Boston to Win (-176) at BetOnline
