Friday is loaded with terrific matchups around the majors as well as a homecoming for Freddie Freeman in Atlanta. Here are today’s player props with MLB odds from BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review), one of BMR’s top-rated sportsbooks.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs. Atlanta Braves

Friday, June 24, 2022 – 07:20 PM EDT at Truist Park

Dodgers Prop Bet: Freddie Freeman

  • At Least 2 Hits + Runs + RBIs

Freeman's History in Atlanta

The Braves don’t get to the WS last year without franchise icon Freddie Freeman, a five-time All-Star, three-time Silver Slugger winner, and 2020 NL MVP. Freeman was arguably the best and most popular Braves player since Chipper Jones and actually caught the final out of the 2021 Fall Classic.

He wanted to return to Atlanta this offseason in free agency, but the Braves weren’t willing to offer a six-year contract with Freeman at age 32 despite still playing at a high level. Instead, they traded for A’s first baseman Matt Olson and Freeman signed with his hometown Los Angeles Dodgers, who did go to six years.

Expect a very warm welcome for Freeman in his return to Atlanta and he will get his World Series ring and a video tribute. When the Braves visited Dodger Stadium earlier this year, he homered in his first at-bat against them.

How is Freeman Playing for the Dodgers?

Freeman enters scorching hot on a seven-game hitting streak, during which he has 3 home runs, 11 RBI, and 7 runs scored. He has at least 2 hits and 2 RBIs in three straight games.

Freeman will certainly want to have a big game tonight but has never seen Braves starter and former teammate Ian Anderson.

Colorado Rockies vs. Minnesota Twins

Friday, June 24, 2022 - 08:10 PM EDT at Target Field

Rockies Prop Bet: CJ Cron

  • Over/Under 0.5 Home Runs
  • Over/Under 1.5 Total Bases

I will make my first home run prop selection of the season on the Rockies’ CJ Cron, who is having an All-Star-caliber season in batting .296 with 17 homers and 52 RBIs. In the past seven days, he’s 10-for-25 with 3 homers. Among players with 10 or more home runs this season, Cron has the longest average home run distance at 426 feet - granted, he has an advantage playing half his games at Coors Field.

Cron and the Rockies face struggling Twins right-hander Dylan Bundy. Even off a terrific outing last time out in Arizona, he has a 6.61 ERA in seven starts since the beginning of May and opponents are hitting .317 against him during that stretch. Cron is 6-for-17 career off Bundy with 3 homers.

We are going to include the total bases prop if you want to play it conservative and we win that simply with a double.

Toronto Blue Jays vs. Milwaukee Brewers

Friday, June 24, 2022 - 08:10 PM EDT at American Family Field

Blue Jays Prop Bet: Alek Manoah

  • Over/Under 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed

Looking for a surprise starting pitcher for the American League in next month’s All-Star Game? I give you 24-year-old Blue Jays right-hander Alek Manoah (8-2, 2.00 ERA), who is a +650 third-favorite at BMR’s top-rated sportsbooks to win the Cy Young.

Manoah has allowed 2 earned runs or fewer in 11 of his 13 starts this season and is holding opponents to a .207 average. Even better, no Brewers have seen him – and, yes, that works to a pitchers’ advantage, especially the first time through the lineup.

While Milwaukee may lead the NL Central, it’s because of the team’s pitching. Not a single everyday player is batting even .250 on the season and the Brewers collectively are hitting just .232. I’m not saying Manoah will have a no-hitter… but I’m not saying he won’t. Frankly, this total should be 1.5 earned runs, not 2.5.

MLB Prop Pick: Manoah Under 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-180) at BetOnline
