The season has flown by as we enter NFL week 18 with a two-pack of games on tap this afternoon and the rest of the slate Sunday. Bookmakers Review spoke with the lines management team at popular offshore sportsbook BookMaker to see how the wise guys have attacked the weekend’s games.
Baltimore Ravens one of the biggest favorites in NFL History
The Baltimore Ravens are currently tied for the 10th biggest favorite in NFL history with a line of -20 at most offshore sportsbooks against the Cleveland Browns, but according to the team at BookMaker, sharp money is largely sitting this contest out.
N.Y. Giants vs. Philadelphia Eagles
BookMaker opened the line at -4 in favor of the Eagles and it has been bet down to -2 as we go to press. A win would give the Eagles their 14th victory and tie their franchise record set two years ago. Despite the Eagles expected to rest their starters, more tickets overall are wagered on Philadelphia with BookMaker.
Sharp Money on Seattle Seahawks
The wise guys are all over the Seattle Seahawks on the road against the L.A. Rams in a game that has seen a ton of line movement.
“Sharps are holding Sea anywhere from +2.5 to -7 on word of Stafford, Puka, Kupp sitting out.”
Wise Guys Haven’t Thrown in the Towel on the N.Y. Jets
Despite a forgettable season and a poor ATS record of 5-11, BookMaker is seeing some sharp money backing the Jets at home against the Dolphins with possibility that Tua Tagovailoa may not be taking the field.
