Call me crazy, and I might well be, but I'm seeing a lot of value in the over during this weekend's main event. Sure, Johnny Walker is a round-1 killer, but if anybody has faith in Thiago Santos, you'll also understand the value I'm seeing.

Thiago Santos's best game plan would be to initiate a grappling war early on; if he can accomplish this and take Walker into the second round, we're going to be 2 and a ½ minutes away from cashing our ticket.

The Perfect Parlay Pick

The available UFC odds with Bookmaker Review are fair; Walker could flatten Santos inside the first minute, but more robust, more intelligent minds will prevail against Walker's brutal attacks. In addition, maybe we'll see a calmer, more relaxed version of Walker because there's a chance he recognizes that five-five minute rounds will require patience to survive.

Devonte Smith vs. Jamie Mullarkey

The Fighters

Devonte Smith (11-2-0) has showcased his punching power since entering the UFC in 2018; around 1 knockout on Dana Whites Contender Series was followed by another two consecutive round 1 knockout when officially joining the promotion. During Smith's 13-fight professional career, not a single bout has reached the judges' scorecard – he's all in or all out.

Jamie Mullarkey (12-4-1) has similarities regarding finishing fights; from his 17 professional career bouts, he's only reached the judges' scorecard on three occasions. When faced with such a fearless opponent, we should expect the killer instinct in Mullarkey to be released.

Perfect Parlay Prediction

The punching power of Smith has been prominent during his pro career, and it doesn't take the Ohio native long to find the button. Surprisingly, he was on the wrong end of Kharma Worthy's fist and ended up on the wrong end of a first-round knockout, but in true Devonte Smith fashion, he returned with another knockout victory over Justin Jaynes.

Australian-born Jamie Mullarkey is another prospect with potential, and his finishing ability is just as relevant. Outside of Brad Riddell and Fares Ziam, you'll find it challenging to find a contest he's involved in that reached the judges' scorecard.

The unpredictability of the UFC is present in this bout, and I expect fireworks from both men in a fight that should end via knockout or submission.
