Mmkay, we have a very big and exciting UFC card this saturday and i am beyond excited!! so here are some picks i already have locked in....definitely share if you have any UFC picks!!
Preliminary card starts at 10am et, main card starts at 2pm et (fight is in Abu Dhabi)
All odds from Bovada
Charles Oliveira vs. Islam Makhachev
no explanation needed, back the goat - Pick: Charles Oliveira +145
Aljamain Sterling vs. T.J. Dillashaw
This co-main title fight will feature two highly skilled bantamweights. Aljo will be defending his belt against Dillashaw who should give him a bigger fight than what Petr Yan offered. In Aljo’s previous title bout against Yan, he controlled Yan on the ground with his wrestling for over 8 minutes of control time. Dillashaw is different than Yan in the sense of him welcoming a fight on the ground. I will also point out that Dillashaw is more accurate than Aljo when it comes to takedowns and also defending takedowns. Another trait about Dillashaw that I really like, he’s a gritty striker with a high volume. Dillashaw is going to smother Aljo in my eyes, so i’ll gladly take the dog's odds. Pick: T.J. Dillashaw +140
Beniel Dariush vs. Mateusz Gamrot
Man, dog-odds on Dariush is beautiful to me. With a background in muay thai, his striking is underrated; he moves swiftly on his feet and is looking for his opportunity to bring the fight to the mat. He is great at applying forward pressure to bring his opponents back against the cage, he works them, then brings them to the ground. This fight is very important to him, because a dub over Gamrot could put him in place of a title shot. Now, Gamrot is a tough and aggressive wrestler, even more than Dariush, so this could partially explain why Gamrot is favored in this one. Although he is strong on the ground, being able to submit his opponents can be tough. Another dog-play or fade for me. Pick: Beniel Dariush +160
Belal Muhammad vs. Sean Brady
Belal Muhammad has always been overrated in my eyes. It takes him a while to search for an opening to bring down his opponent to wrestling, meanwhile Brady isn’t afraid to get down and dirty. He will throw haymakers and can easily bring his opponent down no matter the angle. This is definitely not good for Belal. I have to side with the more confident fighter. Pick: Sean Brady -140
