United States should go ahead and make a public statement such as this

"To the People's Republic Of China

If you should in any way, at any time, attempt to invade and/overtake Taiwan, the United States will counter, following your aggression, in taking North Korea, making it our own, and becoming your new full time neighbor."

I've read that US has plans in place with Taiwan to destroy all the semi-conductor plants there if China invades.

Can you imagine how that would effect EVERYTHING? Manufacturing across the world would come to a halt. Look what happened with car manufacturers running out of chips during covid. This would be 100X worse.
