With the tribes having a monopoly, and having signed a bribe agreement to pay the state at least ½ Billion $$ a year... you just know Florida will end up the poster child for everything bad about state licensed/regulated betting.

Self regulation of the sportsbetting industry is proven to be way better for the player.

People act like their money won't ever be at risk of seizure. But reality is that license conditions offer dozens of reasons for licensed books to take your money "legally". And they will do it way more often than the major offshores ever have over the last 20 years.

Offshore lives and dies on reputation and the A rated offshores almost never take players money.

I opened a account yesterday and funded it instantly using my bank. Standard -110 lines, nothing way out of line, the real question is does Fl keep allowing offshore to operate or does Fl cause offshore to stop serving Fl. My guess is it’s going to be over in Fl, the Indians are not known to share what they control 100% of

They will try. Paying 10 million every week to have the monopoly is a lot to protect.

Well, bettors paying 10 million per week extra vig than otherwise.

No good bonuses, nothing like I keep reading about at the onshore books in states that have competition. I’m not a bonus type player, so I wouldn’t take them even if they were good

Oh OK, thank you. Like for example I know when New Jersey opened their books they had crazy sign on bonuses $1000 risk free bets and so forth
