There are still heaps of independents left, but most of them focus on racing more than sports and don't have good international coverage.

BlueBet, Picklebet, PlayUp, BetDeluxe, Jimmybet, Palmerbet are all ok for some stuff.

Lately I have been using Sportsbet.com.au (PaddyPower), Unibet (KAMBI) and Bet365 the most.

NEDS, Pointsbet, Ladbrokes, BetGold also all useful.

I think there is over 100 licensed bookmakers in my state.

DAMN!!

Horse Volume still big Aussie?

I don't know for sure, but I'd guess horses/dogs makes up 60%+ of volume.

It's for sure the most profitable sport for books here.

Racing isn't just degen in Australia. Everyone from all areas of society has been taught about betting on the Melbourne Cup since kids. Old grannies and pick the best horse name sort of bettors will bet on horses and not on sport. Every pub on a Friday night will have people betting on the greyhounds, and full of people betting the Gallops on Saturdays. Respected business people are happy to be seen at the track and as horse owners.
