Hello

Lot of gambler(arber, bonus hunter etc) using Neteller as deposit method.
Today Neteller closed my silver VIP account after I used it from september 2001 year.
From the beginning I get email from some Ceroline who is from optimalpayments department(email-membersenquires@neteller.com)
She asking valid ID document(2.5 year verified account)
Ok,my passport was expired but couple month ago but as nobody asking me new passport Im dont worry about this.
Ok,I sent my ID card. Get answer from Ceroline-

In order to protect you and your account against identity theft, your account has been frozen. Please e-mail a clear colour scan or digital photograph of your passport - the page displaying the photograph and full passport number. Other forms of identity will not suffice. Please be informed that your that your account will remain frozen until NETELLER is in receipt of a valid copy of your passport.
Kind regards,
Caroline

Ok,I sent my new passport. After 14 days I dont get any answer and my account was still disabled.I asking again-whats wrong.Caroline sent another email

Please can you provide a photograph or scanned copy of the front and back of the Visa Debit card that you to deposit with.
Kind regards,
Caroline

I sent my card photo what I deposit with.

After couple hours I get email

NETELLER has been unable to authenticate either your identity, or the source of the funds in your account. Therefore, your account has been closed. Your account will not be reopened and no further activity will be enabled on your account.
Kind regards,
Caroline

Please dont registred your Netellers accounts because this company is unpredictable-if you have funds in some websites you will never get it as Neteller dont opened your account for refund. Also this company is absolute hypocrite when he preach-send money for fre to yoyr friends, family members etc-yhe price of this will be closed account too.

N.B. For what it's worth,it sounds to me as if Neteller/Optimal payments really think that you have been using someone else's debit card - as why else would they have frozen your account permanently instead of just asking for more ID ? They are a legitimate outfit [okay,I am biased] with a reputation to maintain. So you need to prove ownership of the card that was used to send the money. If they don't like your photos, try sending a scan.If that doesn't work, try a letter from your bank or Visa proving that you own the debit card.
Neteller/Optimal payments are not a bookmaker who can rely upon their terms and conditions and refer disputes to IBAS.Gently point out to them that although they can close your account if they insist,if you can prove that it was your debit card then the money is yours, not theirs, and they are legally bound to return it to you upon demand.

All my photos was exelent. And my Neteller account has verified bank account-thats mean I made withdrawl from my neteller to my bank account before.
In Neteller working some dilettante as Ceroline who dont understand what she doing at all.If she dont understand what she must to do she closewd account,it is simplest way to resolve the problem.one more time-DONT REGISTRED NETELLER AS YOR MONEY WALLET WHILE THERE WORKING CAROLINE LAWREY!!!!!

Hi,again,Rio. I think that what has set all of this off is the debit card.Check with your bank that your debit card has not somehow got onto a stolen list - if it has, then get that fixed.Get a letter from your bank confirming that it is legally your debit card - and give them someone to contact at the bank so that they can check that for themselves. As for the passport, point out that these do expire - you may have to update it or get a new one,or some other form of ID that they say they accept in their terms and conditions. Then you may have to send them a scan of the new/updated passport before they will accept that you are who you say you are.
N.B. If it is the debit card,it would probably be against their policy to tell you that - because they would suspect you of fraud.

My passport and ID card was valid. My credit card was expired as he asking please sent your credit or debit card with you deposit in Neteller. As it was long ago my card was expired but I have photo of them and sent. There is no suspect or something there is only ONE MAN BAND show.Caroline Lawrey is like Stalin-if you are its problem if your account is closed NO problem for all..

Hi again,Rio.Even if the card you deposited with has expired,it should be possible to get a letter from your bank confirming that it was your card when you made the deposit and that you made the deposit legally.Send that to Neteller, renew your passport [or get a new one] and send Neteller a scan of the updated passport.Once you have done that, you will have deprived them of an excuse for claiming that you have failed to verify your ID.Then you will be in a position to demand that they return your money, even if they still refuse to re-open your account.
Neteller/Optimal Payments are not a one man band, they are a public corporation with shareholders - even though they may seem like a one man band because they have one woman handling your dispute.

Apologies for repeating myself, but did you email them a scan of a letter from the bank which issued you with the debit card, confirming that the card was legally yours and that the payments that you made with it were not fraudulent ?

My apologies for guessing here,Rio.But suppose, for example, you had some sort of problems with your bank, and now they won't help you,but it really was your debit card. Then it might still help you if you sent Neteller copies of any paperwork you do have from the bank showing that.Even if,for some reason, the bank demanded that you return the debit card,and/or they banned you from using the debit card, that still wouldn't change the fact that it was your debit card in the first place. Then the money would still have come to Neteller from an account that was truly yours,so if you could show that to Neteller they should then give you the money from your Neteller account.
