So many of us questioned how good Purdue really was all season

But for some reason the rankings always disagreed

Moral of the story, Purdue might have been the most vulnerable #1 ever

Not sure we'll see that again to this extent for long time

FDU lost their conference championship game, in the worst conference in NCAAB only there because Merrimack is on probation.
FDU was 20-15 and 10-6 in a terrible conference.
This will probably be the biggest upset in tournament history for a long time, truly a David vs Goliath even if Perdue was not a #1.
