this is very interesting to see. we have seen this happen before in the past, for example Greg Hardy. I dont think he left mid season, but he left the NFL and started an MMA career. he started off horrible, but he has definitely grown over the years and is fighitng much better.

very curious to see how Bell would do inside the ring

Hopefully, he's saved up his NFL money and is in a position to do whatever he likes going forward.
It seems like a guy just having fun with a "hobby". I don't think I'd have picked boxing to delve into considering how many players have CTE but, power to him.

but why do you think they wouldn't want him

Been pretty much worthless since his holdout year.

More & more evidence that he was a product of that Pitt offense and not his skillset

If he couldn't replicate that early production by going to KC, that what good is a 30 yr old RB w attitude, to a squad like LAR or DAL or GB?

Professional boxers usually have to start in their early teens. Probably wants to fight a celebrity. Boxing hasn't been the same since the 80's and it is a damn shame.
We will never see that again. We were privileged seeing what all the sports were like than. If only we had satellite tv and internet to catch it all
