the media and public narrative is that the Heat are playing with undrafted players so they are not worthy.

only 60 guys get drafted a year in the NBA. there are only 2 rounds. if there were more rounds like they have in the NFL, then most good college players would get drafted.

i fell for the media narrative early on but not anymore.

Strus and Martin both averaged 20 ppg as college seniors. Strus at DePaul and Martin at Nevada. these guys are not scrubs.

Miami is a team of studs and hungry dudes.

Not only is it home court advantage but if the Heat do lose tonight, they could be back in Miami in 5 days with the series at 3-2. That would add a whole lot of pressure to the Heat. Win tonight, and get it over with.

I know these are pros and bulletin board crap doesn't impact them but damn...... I guess they wanted to talk trash to the Heat to get them motivated to wrap it up tonight. Smart and Brown must have tickets to the Caymans Thursday.

whatever Boston is doing has not work so this Marcus trying to use reverse psychology on them, hoping it will work.

nothing else will work as Miami is already extremely motivated due to the rivalry the last 3 or 4 years between these two teams especially the stars on both rosters who have been there to play each other the whole time.

i like this from Marcus. nothing else is working so maybe poke them more and see what happens.

Heat already motivated to wrap it up so Smart just poured gasoline on it to try and have it blow up and hurt the Heat and get them off of their game.
