Hearing the meeting of the presidents for PAC-12 was a utter disaster. With one president of PAC-12 school getting into verbal altercation with PAC-12 president Kliavkoff. Saying he won't talk to Kliavkoff until he gets an apology. 4 corner schools to the Big XII seem imminent. Sinking ship.

Yeah, but seriously there's nothing really viable for them to do in getting schools in their caliber to PAC-12. Unless they get Big 12 schools to join them but it seems it's the opposite. I will miss the conference.

I can't see Big 12 schools going to Pac 12. Like you said, it'll flow the other way.
Pac 12 has not done well while Big 12 seems to be fine with OU and TX leaving.

Does B1G take Oregon & Washington eventually? Does PAC-12 swallow it's pride and add Fresno St & SDSU to keep it afloat?
I think the next two schools will be the Bay Area, Stanford and Cal, going to Big 10, if anyone else going. Better sports program but I think Big 10 would pick the two BA as it's a bigger tv market and more exposure to get students into Big 10.

Across the board in making the grade for Pac-12 standards, I just don't see them adding Fresno St and SDSU. They would rather just blow up the conference.

Article mentioning PAC-12 adding Fresno St & Colorado St to backfill in case of further poaching of the 4 corner schools.

"Pac-12 CEOs have reportedly authorized expansion by as many as four teams. However, one industry source notes that move may not be about expansion but rather backfilling the league should the Pac-12 lose those Four Corners schools -- or more. In other words, the likes of Colorado State and Fresno State wouldn't be expanding the Pac-12, they would be keeping it upright."

Or does the Big XII pluck Fresno St away to create Pacific time-window?

First time i've heard of Fresno being in the Big 12 mix. I can't see that happening over the 4 corner teams and going bigger than 16 in a conference doesn't seem likely. A conf is already diluting the hell out of any TV money.

Pac 12 schools have a fallback in the Big 12 so they are not interested in going yet. It is too much of a humiliation. They will take less. Oregon and Washington will pretend they are committed to get a shorter term deal and they will get a decent deal enough to stay together until Oregon and Washington can figure a way out.

The only way that does not happen is if Arizona actually decides they want out and will take more from the Big 12 which is not likely. It is all riding on Arizona.

They are adding SMU and San Diego State most likely and then Colorado State is a contingency for Arizona leaving and possibly Colorado going with them. Those are the two teams that are most likely to bolt because they are not really a favorite of the Pac 12 and will want the protection of the Big 12 TV deal.
