My pending rollover on BOL is no longer calculating correctly using their rollover calculator.

I placed a $100 wager there on February 5th. After that was settled the rollover calculator adjusted correctly.

I checked it again today and the completed rollover was reduced by $366. Had not made any wagers since the 5th.

I wanted to place a $200 wager today, had no time to contact support before hand so I went ahead and placed that bet. I will be contacting support aboout this issue after this pending bet settles.

I have been noticing this problem for a few months now, as I approached half way complete on the rollover. Mentioned it to support a few months ago when I contacted them about another issue but the problem seems worse now.

Going to mention this thread to customer support, wilI report back here what they say about this issue.

Would you mind clarifying this a little more. What was your rollover after the $100 wager and then what did it adjust to?

Completed rollover as of feb. 4th was 14314.99

Wagered 117 to win 100 on NCAAB on feb 5th.... after settling rollover correctly increased to 14414.99 completed

February 8th before wagering, no wager since feb 5th, calculator now reduced to show 14048.99 completed.

February 8th, wagered 220 to win 200 ncaab, wager settled and calculator increased correctly to 14248.99 completed.

So my question for them is why did they remove $366 completed rollover on the 6 or 7th when I did not wager?

I tried tonight but they are not answering chat right now, will try again tomorrow.

I've got 2 years of wagering left as it is at my current bet size as is, I'll never get done if they keep this up!

This has happened to me before, and I think I might know what the problem is. Question: How long have you been working on this rollover? In other words, when did you accept the first bonus which contributed to this rollover balance?

Did not hear back from BOL yet.

Feb. 9th wagered 330 to win 300 on NCAAB

Wager has settled and rollover calculator added 300 rollover completed as expected, now at 14548.99 completed.

October 7th , 2020. NO time limit to complete it tho.

I track all rollover in my spreadsheet including lesser risk / to win, and only half rollover for MLB and NHL wagers. Have all the rules at the time I took the bonus screen shot.

Screenshots of every wager.

I understand that there is not supposed to be a time limit to complete the rollover per the terms. But as I alluded to in my first post, there was a reason for me to ask this question. I believe you are experiencing the exact same issue that I did in the past, and for the exact same reason.

You see, I am almost certain that the BOL / SB websites have a "lookback period" coded into their rollover counter. Meaning when they tally up the amount of rollover you have achieved, they only look back a certain number of days/months. This is why you experience inconsistent behavior with new bets.

Let's pretend for the sake of argument that this lookback period is 90 days. Well, if you happened to have placed a $500 wager exactly 90 days ago, then when you wake up tomorrow, your rollover counter will be $500 lower than it was the day before. Because this $500 wager is now 91 days old and is beyond the 90-day lookback period - it fell off the counter when the calendar moved ahead 1 day. You misinterpret this behavior as the rollover counter acting screwy with your new bets, but that's not what is happening at all.

Now, let's take your example of what happened today. You placed a $300 wager, and you believe that you got a full $300 rollover credit for that wager. But what you don't understand is that you're getting full credit for all of your new wagers. The difference this time is that you didn't have an old wager teetering on the boundary of that 90-day threshold.

Make sense? Again, I'm not exactly sure if it's 90 days, 100 days, or 120 days. I'm sure we could figure it out with some experimentation. But this is what I believe is happening based on my observations. The reason the issue isn't reported more widely is because most people either: (a) complete their rollover more quickly, (b) go bust, or (c) don't notice.

Interesting theory, I am going to look back at my past bets and see if there is a pattern.

Based on when I started noticing this, it might be a 1 year look back.

So how did you resolve this, did you just contact them when you were finished rollover based on your own calculations and they tallied it up manually, or did you increase wagering to complete it based on the rollover calc. Or bust out? lol

Yeah, a period of 6 months or a year would make a lot more sense. I was just going with what you told me - October '21 - but I thought it was something much longer than that.

By the way, the reason I came upon this theory is because I noticed that my rollover counter was decreasing when I hadn't placed any bets. So I knew that the problem wasn't the counter not giving me 100% credit for newly placed wagers. It had to be that older wagers stopped being counted.

Here's the thing. Even if you are to prove that this is what is causing the weird counter behavior through experimentation, successfully explaining it to someone at BOL and getting them to fix it seems like a near-impossible nightmare. So when I realized what was happening, I just focused on getting through the rollover as quickly as possible, before more old bets fell off.

Betonline has cancelled my remaining rollover due to this issue.

Very generous of them, they are by far the best book around in my opinion!

They are easily the most customer friendly book I'm aware of. We see people on forums such as this one who are obviously breaking rules and committing fraudulent acts, and sometimes even they are cut a break by BOL.

Was probably an easy decision for them, since they can see by my past history that I continued playing there even when rollover is completed.
