Two thoughts that came to mind immediately

1. I’m not sure any of this year’s quarterbacks in the draft are worth what Carolina gave up

2. The Texans are such idiots for winning their season finale

I heard one of the talking heads on ESPN last night say that Carolina may trade the 1st pick for the 4th pick with the Colts and get back their 1st and 2nd round picks. The thought is they can still get the QB they desire at that spot.

If that occurs the only thing they will have given up is DJ Moore to get the QB they desire.

I've not looked at how this scenario would roll out in detail since the Panthers would then have Indy and Houston (both likely taking QBs) ahead of them in the draft.

Hmmmm... Interesting development.

look like carolina looking at the ohio state qb
IDK... Ohio State QBs in NFL have not exactly been "great".
I guess Fields is the best one as far as NFL success so far.
