Best bets for Monday Night Football: Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys

ESPN PLUS $ MATERIAL

The Dallas Cowboys will host the Philadelphia Eagles to wrap up Week 3 on Monday Night Football (8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN).

ESPN betting analyst Joe Fortenbaugh, ESPN Analytics' Seth Walder, and Aaron Schatz from Football Outsiders have teamed up to offer up their best bets.

Odds courtesy of Caesars Sportsbook by William Hill as of Sunday, unless otherwise noted.

Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys (-3.5, 51.5)

Walder: The Dallas offensive line has been a major disappointment in terms of pass protection, ranking 31st in pass-block win rate this season, per ESPN metrics using NFL Next Gen Stats. La'el Collins is suspended but the greater concern is that Tyron Smith ranks 51st out of 68 tackle qualifiers in PBWR. The Eagles pass rush is decent, even though they will be missing Brandon Graham. As a result, this is the worst projected pass-blocking matchup of Week 3. Therefore, I'm bearish on Dak Prescott's passing totals on Monday night.

Pick: Prescott under 297.5 receiving yards (-115)

I'll particularly be watching DeVonta Smith for the Eagles with his old college teammate Trevon Diggs covering him. Diggs has really improved in his second season, but long speed and double moves can be his weaknesses. Pace is also an issue here, with both Philadelphia and Dallas ranking in the top 10 for situation-neutral pace over the first two games. More plays equals more points!

Pick: Over 51.5
