I haven't played with these guys and thinking about opening an account. Curious as to others' experience with them? It seems easy enough to make a deposit (surprise), but not nearly as easy to make a withdrawal.

Your money is safe there, but they will limit and eventually kick you out if you're a consistent winner.

I lost my 1st 7 deposits there and then on the 8th deposit I went on a run and got just above even and they booted me.

So silly.

They have also been known to short people on bitcoin payouts.

I play there when they offer the 100% reload when football starts and the NCAA bb tourney starts. This year it was 150%, up to $500, so $300 something gets you $500.

when you don’t play there for awhile they will offer you good reloads, like 75%. These are cash bonuses.

a unique item they have are their if bets. Say you want to bet a game but all of your funds are tied up with games that are still live, you could do an if bet and select what bet you want toI’m not sure other books handle if bets the same way. If so, disregard.

as people say rec book. Also I heard of them not allowing sign ups for certain states. I can’t personally confirm that but that’s what I read. Even people having an account in one of those states having gt close their account because they live in one of those states. I think they pick and choose though.

If you’ve been with off shore for a good amount of time, they spawned from betgameday and vip. Same setup those books had.

as others said rec book. Worth a try though with the signup bonus.

This book doesn't credit the amount I've deposited at least 5+ times and now when I requested a payout I'm shorted $16, its just quite ridiculous and a joke. I don't like being petty but when against greedy people I will go out of the way to let others know.

Stop offering promos/bonuses and doing this shit. Just wanted to warn others.

You're not being petty. The sportsbook or their bitcoin processor are clearly taking a slice of every transaction. And it's not just you and me going crazy. This complaint about GTBets is raised on a regular basis. Don't try to blame it on bitcoin price fluctuation - people aren't making this same complaint about all of the other bitcoin books for some reason (weird, right?). Just stop lying and tell everyone there's a fee. It's the attempt to hide it and lying about it that pisses people off.

They never credit your account with the correct bitcoin deposit and short you when cashing out.

Hate that type of greed, especially with how much they've made off bitcoin lol

I think it's about a management mentality of user pays more than greed. Bitcoin users pay their own processing fees same as other methods pay any premium on those.

Whilst I do think it's a bad policy that annoys users more than it's worth just covering those processing expenses from general revenue. We are talking about 0.5% or less and most people look at it versus the perks and choose to live with it.

Have you got any other issue with the book that motivates you to create a username "getbetssucks"?

Have they penalized you in some way?

Or is this solely about their bitcoin processor?

For the name, it was the added frustration that when I signed up 1+ years ago I made the mistake of using my c.c. to deposit. I lost my entire c.c deposits but it didn't matter. I eventually set up coin base with bitcoin and deposited won, but my 1st 2 withdrawals from them couldn't be bitcoin because of the lost c.c deposits, so I paid $40+x2 for bank wire , this was in their terms so there's no complaint. I finally thought well at least I'll get free withdrawals now if I'm fortunate enough to win.

Out of the 6 or so books I've used they are the one I've cashed out the most times in the last year+ around 5-7 times if I remember correctly. They might have a problem with that, which i laugh at, cause they have no idea how much I'm down at the other places.

They've given me $15 free plays countless times when i go a month or so not playing, they offer free half point on a team which is awesome, i think it was 100% for $150 when NBA started, but if I don't say something is wrong with this then they wont think they are doing anything wrong.

Also coinbase sends an e-mail with the bitcoin rate and USD when I received the withdrawal, which they replied that it is out of their control and I said you can control the amount you sent.

Name should be gtbets charges for bitcoin withdrawals

This withdrawal was my lowest at $650 or so, making the $16 seem a lot more than it is.

Their pettiness has made me be petty about this.

Good books that are fair will use the same listed exchange platform on ingoing and outgoing transactions, and tell you what it is.

Some books use the highest rate and lowest rate, whichever benefits them the most.

It's a greedy, shady practice that not only makes the book look like shit, but the whole offshore industry, as well.

The only way to stop this from happening is to post and warn others, just as you did.

Word spreads and people stop playing at these places that try to fleece their customers out of pure greed.

Yes, but 1Vice was giving half point on every game, every day.

GT had pick 2 favorite teams in each sport.

You only got the half point on that team and could not get it against that team or any other teams.

You weren't allowed to switch teams until the next season either.

It was much more risk adverse, plus they took it away if you had a pulse.

They still do it.
That's right, gtbets.ag is offering you a free 1/2 point on one team in each the NFL, College Football, NBA and College Basketball. Log in to your account and follow the links to select your favorite teams for the season and you're locked in to this one-of-a-kind promotion.

I thought the 1Vice promo you only got it on your favorite team too.

Betislands I think had the free for all on all games half point thing you are describing. And also went broke of course...
