Good move I think. The transfer portal thing has gotten out of control

Anything that reduces all the transfer portal drama might be a good thing at this point

Probably so. NCAA trying to prove it has at least a little bit of control over the sport still while in reality it has very little these days

I don't think it has any, it's a voluntary body that the schools apply to but the players aren't legally bound to anymore.

For a move to eliminate a right enjoyed by thousands of student athletes is highly unlikely to survive a legal challenge
