Hi BMR,
this is my first post :) I joined stakers.com and had all my details and ID verified, I deposited over £300 then my account closed . It’s because I was registered at gamstop which automatically self excluded from every casino. They decided to apply the exclusion after I spent all that money. I have emailed stalkers.com over a week ago with no reply , I’m asking for my deposits back as what they are doing is agains the terms of the gambling commission, hope you can help.
thanks
simon

I've had a look at their terms and conditions and I can't see anything which would cover a situation such as this. You might (and I stress might) have a case for a refund, but it's a tricky area which is made even trickier by the fact that Gamstop is a new self-exclusion method. For now I would keep chasing them and see whether you get anywhere with the argument that you shouldn't have been allowed to play on their site as you were already registered with Gamstop - a tool to which Stakers has signed up.

For future reference, registering with a bookmaker when you are already self-excluded is a road to nowhere. If you win, you will never get your winnings (one of the first things bookmakers do before they process a withdrawal request is to check whether a player is subject to a self-exclusion) and if you lose, you will have to fight tooth and nail to get your deposits back - as is the case now with Stakers.
