Following a midweek dismantling of Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarterfinals first leg, Manchester City has now won nine consecutive games in all competitions and will welcome a dented Leicester City squad that shouldn’t pose much threat whatsoever.
Pep Guardiola’s men have steamrolled the competition of late, including wins over the German champions, Liverpool and Newcastle United. Furthermore, they’ll return to the Etihad, where they’ve won their last five while netting at least 3 goals in 4 of those 5 successes.
Sitting in a polar opposite league position to their weekend opponents, second-from-bottom Leicester City will be fighting for Premier League survival for the next month. We’re in the penultimate month of domestic action, and although taking points from the Citizens is a tough ask, the Midlands squad must put up a fight like it’s their last.
Unfortunately, Leicester makes the trip to Manchester on the back of 9 winless games in all competitions. They’ve lost 8 of those aforementioned 9 and have scored just 2 goals in their 4 most recent EPL road games.
Unsurprisingly, the EPL betting odds have placed Man City as significant betting favorites. The moneyline is an easy play, but with simplicity in sports betting, we always face undesirable juice.
However, as Manchester City owns an impressive half-time/full-time record where they’ve stayed unbeaten in both halves for 9 straight games, we expect Guardiola and company to continue this trend versus a lackluster Leicester squad and maintain a healthy lead at 45 minutes and the 90th fulltime whistle.
Score prediction: Man City 4 – Leicester City 0

Sunday’s London derby will see West Ham welcome their capital city foes to the London Stadium; but will The Hammers live up to their nickname, or will they be the nail?
Given the current form of Arsenal, the latter is more likely. West Ham isn’t a formidable squad on home turf, as displayed by Newcastle United – A team that tore David Moyes’ squad apart 1-5 at The Hammers ground. And it’ll be Mikel Arteta’s table toppers looking to emulate a similar result.
Arsenal will look at Manchester City’s Saturday fixture against Leicester and almost know their title-chasing rivals will collect another three points. After dropping points in a drawn fixture at Anfield last week, the gap between 1st and 2nd in the Premier League table has fallen to six, and anything but a win this weekend could be detrimental to The Gunners’ title hopes.
The good news for Arsenal is that West Ham competed in midweek European action, and tired legs combined with a plane journey to Belgium might be of assistance. Arteta’s men have a full week of rest and are still unbeaten in 10 consecutive games after last weekend’s draw.
When we look at the bigger picture, Arsenal is undefeated in 11 of their previous 12 EPL road games and has scored at least 2 goals in 3 of those meetings.
The betting odds available at the top US sportsbooks have placed Arsenal as the betting favorite, and the -171 moneyline price tag is justified.
West Ham did collect a confidence boost after the Newcastle embarrassment by defeating Fulham last weekend. That said, the overseas midweek visit to KAA Gent resulted in a 1-1 draw, and they won’t own a fresh starting XI, thus making Arsenal an ideal betting prediction to keep their league-leading position strong.
Score prediction: West Ham 1 – Arsenal 3
