Dominic and Anthony Buttitta ran online sportsbook Skybook from 2005 to 2009.

Father and son Dominic and Anthony Buttitta have been sentenced respectively to 18 and 30 months for filing false federal corporate tax returns and diverting more than $4.6 million.
They have also been ordered to repay the IRS $1.3 million and to forfeit an additional $400,000 to the United States.

The two Buttittas operate Blackjacks Gentlemen\’s Club, a strip club on Route 25 in Elgin, Ohio, but the joint IRS and FBI investigation revealed that between 2005 and 2009, they also ran online sportsbook Skybook as well as several other online gambling sites based in Costa Rica from which they made approximately $400,000 in net profits.

Once a reputable offshore sportsbook, Skybook was the subject of multiple player complaints in 2009 and eventually joined the BetPhoenix group in April 2010.
Skybook rating coverage is suspended.
