Major League Soccer action is heating up this weekend and we’re back to bringing you our weekly preview of some of the best MLS bets and soccer betting picks for your consideration.

Saturday, July 23, 2022 – 07:00 PM EDT at Yankee Stadium
New York City (11-5-4) will look to make it six unbeaten when they welcome conference rivals Inter Miami (7-4-9) at Yankee Stadium on Saturday night.
They’re one of the highest-scoring teams in the league and they have one of the best goal differentials in the Eastern Conference, a fact that underscores their balanced game.
NYCFC, ranked second currently, clinched a third straight win (and second straight on the road) by beating city rivals NY Red Bulls 1-0 last weekend. Now, only a point separates the second-placed NYCFC from the top-of-the-table, Philadelphia Union.
It should come as no surprise that the online sportsbooks favor NYCFC. The ninth-ranked Inter Miami can’t seem to buy a win on the road – they’re 0-2-5 in their last seven trips.
For those looking to back the hosts, backing the handicap offers better value.
Soccer Pick: New York City FC -1.5 (+113) at Heritage Sports (visit our Heritage Sports Review)
Saturday, July 23, 2022 - 07:30 PM EDT at Lower.com Stadium
Columbus Crew (7-8-5) are back inside the playoff frame, up to sixth in the standings and three points adrift of fourth-placed Montreal Impact.
Columbus’ latest renaissance couldn’t be timed better with the arrival of Josef “Cucho” Hernandez.
The Columbian forward hit the ground running ever since his MLS debut a few weeks ago, making history by scoring his fourth goal in three matches (138 minutes played) and helping his side to the 2-0 win over FC Cincinnati last weekend.
Overall, Columbus is riding an eight-game unbeaten streak and they’ll be looking to make it nine at the expense of New England Revolution this weekend.
By all accounts, the hosts might be the value bet here as well, as the Revs are struggling on form and leaking points in their last few games.

Saturday, July 23, 2022 - 07:30 PM EDT at Exploria Stadium
No.1 ranked Philadelphia Union (10-9-2) descends on fifth-placed Orlando City (8-6-7) for a pivotal clash of potential playoff contenders.
Despite their top credentials, the soccer odds are pretty tight for this game. What’s more, Philadelphia Union is tipped as a distinct underdog!
This is the same side that’s won three straight and four of its last six matches, including a win over NYCFC and a 7-0 decimation of D.C. United…and so on.
It’s a no-brainer, surely. Grab Philadelphia at their tempting underdog soccer odds.
Soccer Pick: Philadelphia Union ML (+195) at Bovada
Sunday, July 24, 2022 - 08:00 PM EDT at Q2 Stadium
Austin FC (12-5-4) faces New York Red Bulls (9-6-6) in a fascinating inter-conference showdown at the Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas.
The second-year franchise is living its best MLS life. They’re up in second place in the Western Conference, riding a seven-game unbeaten streak, and are this year’s Copa Tejas winners.
The NY Red Bulls won’t be pushovers. But their recent form is mixed. The Red Bulls are coming off a home loss to NYCFC and their form in their last five games is 2-1-2.
All things considered, Austin at home has to be the smart bet here.

Sunday, July 24, 2022 - 09:30 PM EDT at Dignity Health Sports Park
Western Conference playoff hopefuls, Los Angeles Galaxy (8-3-9), will bring the curtain down on this weekend’s round of MLS betting action when they welcome Eastern Conference rivals, Atlanta United FC (6-6-8), at Dignity Health Sports Park.
The hosts are down to seventh in the standings after a run of poor form that includes three straight defeats and four in their last five. Despite this poor form, Galaxy is tipped as the firm home favorite to win here. That’s interesting, to say the least.
Atlanta United ranks 11th, but only three points separate them from seventh-placed Cincinnati in the Eastern Conference table. Austin picked up a win and a draw in their last two games and they’ll be keen to build on that momentum.
Road wins are few and far between for Atlanta, but they did hold NYCFC to a 2-2 draw on their last outing.
Soccer Pick: Draw (+310) at BetOnline
