That said, Hoffenheim has had a few stumbles of late. They lost to Union Berlin, Borussia Dortmund and Mainz in Germany’s top-flight. They also suffered a loss in the DFB Pokal, losing to Freiburg 4-1.

VfL Wolfsburg won’t be a cakewalk, even though they’re in 12th position in the table with an 8-3-11 mark and 27 points. The hosts are riding a two-game winning streak, which includes a 4-1 win over bottom-placed Greuther Furth and a 2-0 win over tenth-placed Eintracht Frankfurt.
As tempting as a bet on Hoffenheim might be given their lofty standing in the table and the slight edge according to the soccer odds, Wolfsburg feels like the smarter bet to come through at home.

FC Bayern Munich vs. SpVgg Greuther Fürth

The Allianz Arena is one of the toughest to conquer by the best teams in Europe, never mind the league. So, it should come as no surprise that Bayern Munich’s lowly visitors enter this weekend’s contest as the quintessential longshot soccer bet with odds trading in the quadruple digits across multiple top-rated sportsbooks.
Greuther Fürth props up the Bundesliga table with a 3-4-15 mark and 13 points. They’re as certain to be relegated when all is said and done as the sun is to rise in the morning.
Die Munchen is riding roughshod over the league with a stellar 17-1-4 mark and 52 points. However, in recent weeks, form has dipped enough to allow their nearest rivals Borussia Dortmund to close the gap to six points.
Bayern suffered a surprising 4-2 loss to Bochum last weekend – a result that saw coach Julian Nagelsmann come under heavy criticism. Perhaps, Bayern was looking ahead to their upcoming Champions League contest against RB Salzburg and not paying enough attention to the game before them. Bayern conceded all four goals in the first half.
Whatever Nagelsmann’s strategy, things didn’t quite pan out in the Champions League as Bayern settled on a 1-1 draw in the first leg against RB Salzburg. In fact, they were forced to come from behind to salvage the tie.
Fortunately, a date with Furth is a get-right sort of game. A matchup that will allow Bayern to build up confidence with an easy victory. It will also give Nagelsmann a chance to rest up some players as they prepare for the next leg of European competition in the coming weeks.
Betting on Bayern to win outright holds very little value for soccer picks, but a win is an almost sure thing. The better value bet here is to back the Over in totals for what should be a high-scoring affair with the hosts doing most of the scoring.
