However, since returning in 2019, the Brazilian native has torn through her previous five opponents to reach the strawweight division's top-10 rankings.
Lemos returns to the octagon from a Fight of the Night-winning performance over the ever-dangerous Angela Hill. Still, she’ll undoubtedly face the toughest test of her career with Jessica Andrade across the cage.

Jessica Andrade is a specimen of women’s combat sports; flirting between three weight classes during her professional career – dating back over ten years – always provides one occurring trend, her brute strength and power.
The former strawweight champion has suffered 4 defeats since 2017, but those losses have been against current or former champions. The level of competition on Andrade’s record is phenomenal; she’s faced the most elite female fighters on the planet and has proven to be a true legend of the sport.

Low volume and vicious striking power is the story of Lemos’ stand-up game. Often setting up her combinations with the push jab, she enjoys using the front kick and will headhunt most of her opponents from the opening bell.
Defeating Andrade won’t be easy; throwing kicks won’t be as accessible with the takedown threat consistently present. I believe the best game for Lemos would be to remain patient, utilize her reach advantage and carefully strike her to victory.

I still get shudders from the slam knockout versus Rose Namajunas in her championship-winning fight, Andrade is a menace, and a knockout finish throughout five rounds is highly possible.
As previously mentioned, the low center of gravity has favored Andrade on countless occasions. The build and strength of the Brazilian, matched with her ability to level change, have made takedowns a straightforward path into an authoritative position.
Lemos looked shaky versus the striking prowess of Angela Hill; if Andrade can land the same shots, it could be lights out.
