Malcolm Gordon vs. Denys Bondar

UFC Flyweight Main Card Bout

Saturday, February 5, 2022 – 4:10 PM EST at UFC Apex Center

Betting Pick Analysis

Canadian native Malcolm Gordon (13-5-1) makes his fourth walk to the UFC Apex octagon after going 1-2 in the promotion since his arrival. While Gordon owns the UFC experience advantage, the company isn't doing him any favors with this scheduled bout.

Denys Bondar (16-3-0) will make his UFC debut, riding a 10-fight win streak. Avoiding defeat since 2017, Bondar's well-diverse skillset can end a fight standing and, on the ground, respectively.

Parlay Prediction

Gordan found his first UFC victory last time out, but he mainly focuses on a grappling offense to give himself the best chance of success. Unfortunately, he's matched with a fighter in Bondar who possesses the defensive attributes to counter the takedown attempts.

Bondar has finished all of his professional MMA bouts inside the distance; he's a natural-born finisher with the strength and intelligence to capitalize on Gordon's questionable chin.

The available UFC odds with Bookmakers Review rarely favor UFC debutants with steep moneyline prices. However, these odds are justifiable when evaluating Bondar's MMA game.

UFC Parlay Prediction: Denys Bondar to win (-260) with BetOnline (visit our BetOnline Review)

Alexis Davis vs. Julija Stoliarenko

UFC Women's Bantamweight Bout

Saturday, February 5, 2022 5:25 PM EST at the UFC Apex Center

Betting Pick Analysis

Alex Davis (20-11-0) hasn't owned the most trustworthy record throughout her nine-year tenure as a UFC competitor, but the intelligence earned and experience gained is undeniable.

Of course, a 1-4 losing streak from her previous 5 bouts isn't the most enticing wager to place, but she's notably lost to top-ten ranked women.

Also known as the 'Lithuanian Arm Bar Queen', Julija Stoliarenko (9-5-1) owns a 0-2 UFC record after joining the promotion in 2020. Two lackluster bouts were met with disappointing losses, a trend I expect to continue on Saturday night.

Parlay Prediction

I wish Stoliarenko the best of luck in finding an armbar finish on Alexis Davis – a notable Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt who's been submitted on just one occasion during her 31-fight career.

Stoliarenko is rather one-dimensional in her approach, and where she excels on the ground, I expect Davis will outmatch her. The experience advantage alone is huge, and that's why the sportsbooks aren't backing down on their pricing.

The available UFC odds with the top-rated books opened with Davis as the significant favorite, despite a 1-4 losing streak. I think it becomes obvious why Davis has the tools to nullify anything her opponent attacks with.

UFC Parlay Prediction: Alexis Davis to win (-240) with BetOnline
