UFC Lightweight Main Card Bout
Saturday, March 19, 2022 – 05:25 PM EDT at 02 Arena
This weekend, the people's main event will involve one of the UK's most hyped MMA stars in Paddy Pimblett (17-3-0). The Liverpool-born Brit hasn't proved his worth amongst the UFC elite just yet, but a debut stoppage victory was enough to cause a stir throughout the lightweight division.

Rodrigo Vargas (12-4-0) isn't a massive step up in competition for Pimblett, but the Mexican native is a tough S.O.B who shouldn't be overlooked.
After rewatching Pimblett's UFC debut, you can find multiple concerns with his approach, particularly his disregard for incoming strikes. With that said, he does eat them incredibly well with solid durability on display.
While I envision "Paddy the Baddy" outclassing Vargas to an eventual submission finish, I can't respect the moneyline price of -500.
The available UFC odds with Bookmakers Review are receiving many wagers on Pimblett, which has driven his available line to a position we cannot support. However, despite the result of this contest, I don't envision the judge's scorecard being necessary.

UFC Light Heavyweight Bout
Saturday, March 19, 2022 – 02:50 PM EDT at 02 Arena
Nikita Krylov (27-8-0) has lost 3 of his previous 5 fights, but people neglect to recognize the level of competition he's been facing. The former champion Jan Blachowicz, the current champion Glover Teixeira, and a fast-rising star in Magomed Ankalaev are equally nothing to hold against the Ukrainian athlete.
Krylov will return after a year layoff, and he's still just 29-years-old. Behind the experience he's gathered in the UFC thus far, with the potential to evolve into a championship-caliber of a competitor, we must recognize the significant drop in competition he's facing on Saturday.
Paul Craig (15-4-1) has shocked the MMA community on countless occasions, and it's a high level of jiu-jitsu that's assisted him in such a noteworthy UFC tenure across the previous few years.

The Scotsman will undoubtedly be rubbing his hands together when looking at Krylov's four career losses by submission, but he must first find a way to grapple, and I'm just not seeing it.
Krylov excels in all facets of the game, but he'll want to keep this contest standing – despite the confidence he may have received from scrambling with Teixeira on the ground and surviving. Should Krylov avoid taking this bout to the ground, it's truly his fight to lose.
Obviously, Craig is a huge threat in the BJJ department, but he hasn't shown the offense outside of this one area that would give Krylov any concern.
The available odds at the top-rated sportsbooks favor Krylov, and I believe the -190 moneyline price would be double this if these men were to have fought two years ago. They aren't comparable as complete martial artists; sportsbooks are just conscious of Craigs’ ability to submit his opponents.
UFC Parlay Prediction: Krylov Win (-190) at BetOnline
