However, nine professional fighters haven’t survived more than six minutes with the Russian, and his skill set is evidently capable of competing with the most elite.
Chimaev began wrestling at the age of 5; he owns countless trophies and championships within wrestling, sambo, and judo. He has now been training alongside Alexander Gustafsson at the Allstar team in Stockholm for five years.
When watching Neil Magny find success in controlling Jingliang, I find it difficult not to believe that Chimaev can achieve a similar path to victory. Chimaev’s striking isn’t well polished, but his confidence is growing fight-to-fight; I believe the Russian is a special breed with a great chance of reaching the top-five rankings.

There aren’t many women who’ve managed to escape the grips of Jandiroba’s submission finishing ability, and at the age of 33, she’s fighting in the prime of her life.
It’s difficult to anticipate which fighter will own the greater Jiu-Jitsu offense; in fact, we should expect an exceptionally even playing field in their BJJ attributes.
With that said, this matchup style will often equal a cancellation of their usual approach. In this case, we should expect the fight to take place on the feet as both ladies possess an equally dangerous grappling offense.
