Six $50k UFC 265 Bonuses Were Handed Out

The UFC is renowned for delivering multiple highlight-reel finishes during their events. Still, UFC 265 was such an entertaining night of fights that President Dana White had no choice but to award six fighters with $50,000 bonuses.

Outside of the Fight of the Night bonus awarded to Rafael Fiziev and Bobby Green, newly crowned champion Ciryl Gane, Vicente Luque, Miles Johns, and Jessica Penne were all gifted with some extra pocket money for their impressive outings.

Rafael Fiziev and Bobby Green Go to War for Fight of the Night Honors

Lightweight contenders Rafael Fiziev and Bobby Green closed out the UFC 265 preliminary card in style, putting on an absolute show for the Texas crowd.

For three complete rounds, they traded blows, but it was Fiziev’s output and pressure that saw his hand raised – despite a solid third round for Green.

Ciryl Gane Dominates in the UFC 265 Main Event

On Saturday evening, the pressure should’ve been overwhelming for the Frenchman entering hostile territory in front of Derrick Lewis’ hometown crowd. Still, the undefeated Ciryl Gane continued his professional MMA dominance in a five-round war he ended inside of three.

Gane totally outmatched Lewis, and as we predicted here at Bookmakers Review – “Bon Gamin” stook to his usual gameplan of slick footwork and precise striking from the outside. It didn’t take long before Gane’s output was too much for Lewis to handle, as he finished the Texas local in the third round, setting up a heavyweight unification title fight with his former teammate Francis Ngannou.

Next week the UFC roster and staff will take a well-deserved break. Still, on the 21st of August, the promotion will return to the Apex Center for a middleweight headliner between knockout artist Jared Cannonier and former title contender Kelvin Gastelum.

UFC in Vegas 34 takes place at the Apex Center in Nevada, and Bookmakers Review will have all your analysis and betting picks requirements covered.
