The Green Bay Packers (7-1) enter this week riding a 7-game victory streak as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs (4-4) on Sunday, November 7 at Arrowhead Stadium. The Chiefs, who have struggled all season, will be fresh off an embarrassingly close win over the New York Giants.

The Packers entered last week as a 6.5-point underdog and continue to be the team getting the points for this matchup. As for the Chiefs, they were 10-point favorites in Week 8 and continue to be the favorite this week.
According to Bovada (visit our Bovada Preview), Kansas City is a 7.5-point favorite over Green Bay with the over/under at 48.
Green Bay earned their seventh consecutive game last Thursday night, beating the only undefeated NFL team left–––the Arizona Cardinals 24-21.
Aaron Rodgers, once again, has been playing at an MVP level and has thrown 17 touchdowns on the season to just three interceptions.
However, the Pack won’t have Rodgers front and center this Sunday as we learned this week that Rodgers is unvaccinated and has been ruled out after testing positive for COVID-19.
So, getting his first long-awaited NFL career start is backup quarterback Jordan Love. The good news is that they’ve had some extra sleep to prepare after playing last Thursday night and to their advantage, the Chiefs played Monday night and could look sluggish. But, the Packers just found out on Thursday that Love will be their only available quarterback (Oh yeah, third-string Kurt Benkert tested positive too).
With their offense lacking some key starters due to injuries and Covid, Green Bay will have to rely heavily on their defense to save the day, which has not allowed any opponent to score over 22 points in five straight games.
The struggling Chiefs on the other hand are trying to get things cooking again, but both sides of the ball are to blame. Between Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, this team has allowed multiple turnovers in six of their last eight games this season.
As for the defense, the Ravens, Eagles, Bills and Chargers have each posted 30 or more points against the Chiefs this season, which could instill some confidence in Love leading the Packers. Not to mention the fact that KC has been favored in all eight games and this one but are just 2-6 against the spread.
This will be an interesting matchup, that’s for sure and all eyes will be on Love. Can play the hero and make it eight in a row for the Pack against Patrick Mahomes’ squad? He’ll have to rely heavily on his backfield with Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon, but that’s not going to be enough help.
