David Beckham’s Inter Miami are struggling with something huge in 2021. Through 10 fixtures, Inter Miami’s record on the season is a subpar 2-2-6 with eight points. That’s good enough for the 12th spot in the Eastern Conference standings and, importantly, it’s a short drop to the bottom as only three points separate Miami from the two outfits that currently prop up the table: Toronto and Chicago, both of which are level on five points.
Most recently, Inter Miami succumbed to a 2-1 loss to Orlando City – a defeat that sees them drop four straight games in a row. The last time Miami tasted victory was in April. What’s most concerning for manager Phil Neville’s side is the fact that Miami’s losses have come against questionable opponents, including Montreal Impact last month in a 2-0 loss.
Montreal Impact are coming off back-to-back draws against solid opponents and improve to ninth spot in the table with a 3-4-3 mark and 13 points. They first settled on a scoreless draw with D.C. United, holding their formidable hosts scoreless in the second half despite going down a man. Last week, they fritted away the advantage when they allowed Nashville to score the equaliser in a 1-1 draw.
Neither side has an overwhelming advantage but recent form tips the balance in favor of the Montreal Impact ever so slightly. Miami are in the midst of a negative slide and showing no signs of turning things around either. As such, we’re betting on Montreal to come through.

In the broad spectrum of the season, things aren’t looking great for Chicago Fire. They’re sat pretty at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings with a subpar 1-2-7 mark on the season and a paltry five points after a poor start to their 2021 campaign.
Most recently, the Chicago Fire snapped a three-game losing streak as it forced Philadelphia Union to share in the spoils behind a 3-3 draw at the weekend. It was their first point in their last four fixtures going back to May when they beat Inter Miami 1-0.
Atlanta United boast a 2-6-2 mark and 12 points on the season, a modest enough start to their 2021 campaign that puts them in 10th position currently. The Five Stripes are better than their record would suggest and getting back inside the top seven is likely to be the top objective this weekend. As it stands, only a point separates Atlanta United and NY Red Bulls, D.C. United and Montreal – all of which are level on 13 points.
According to top sportsbooks, Chicago Fire looks to be there for the taking as they’ve won merely a game thus far this season. Atlanta United, by contrast, have won merely two games but they’ve also only lost just two of their remaining eight games, which underlines just how tough they are to beat. Indeed, that might make the draw bet in this game the better bet. However, given that a spot in the top seven could well be on the line, all three points will be key.

The top Western Conference billing between Sporting Kansas City and Los Angeles Galaxy rounds out the weekend’s soccer betting card, and it should be a right cracker by all accounts. Indeed, the soccer betting line is tighter than an accountant’s purse, offering value on both sides of the coin. However, it’s worth noting that Sporting Kansas City are marginally favored over Los Angeles Galaxy at home.
Sporting are currently in second place with a 7-2-3 mark and 23 points. Recent form stands on a 3-1-1 mark in their last five fixtures, and includes a two-game winning streak which comprises of a 3-1 win over Colorado Rapids and 2-1 over Los Angeles FC.
Inasmuch as Sporting Kansas City is on good form, so too is L.A. Galaxy. They’re 7-0-3 on the season with 21 points, and they’re coming off a solid 3-1 win over San Jose Earthquakes that extends their positive run of form to two straight wins. All in all, merely two points separate Sporting Kansas City and L.A. Galaxy.
To all intents and purposes, this game is a right tossup for soccer picks. The hosts have a real shot to win this match while equally the visitors have just as good a chance to do so too. The draw therefore may be the best bet here.
