The Ravens can break a record for the most consecutive 100-yard rushing games. However, that doesn’t exactly mean this game has to go over the total, right? For your NFL picks, read my prediction below.

The Baltimore Ravens just need 100 rushing yards to break the streak for the most games in a row with 100 rushing yards.
Somehow the primetime games always find these types of games. Anyway, we can be sure the Ravens are going to run the ball for over 100 yards in this game.
To be fair, the Colts’ rushing defense has actually been really good this year. They’ve held opponents to 114 yards on the ground, which really isn’t all that bad. What has been bad for the Colts’ defense has been coverage and tackling.
The Ravens understand those problems because they’re in the same boat. I’d go on record saying the Colts have a better defense than the Ravens right now. It’s close but both defenses have not been up to par. Again, the one area that the Colts stack up well is the defensive line.
The Colts are allowing 24.3 points per game along with 346 yards per game on the defensive end. After getting their first win of the season last week, Indianapolis has some momentum coming into this game.
However, the offense will need to continue to play better. They’ve got all the weapons, but have had plenty of injuries that have killed this team early.
The Ravens, on the other hand, have been able to run the ball very well, obviously, averaging 164.5 yards per game on the ground. They’re scoring 26.3 points per game behind Lamar Jackson, who has six touchdowns when combining rushing and passing this season.
Jackson already had a big moment in primetime, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs, 36-35 after a loss against the Raiders the week prior. Since then, the Ravens have won three straight, but could’ve easily lost a game to the Lions in Week 3.
It’s been inconsistency from both teams to start the season. But with both teams getting wins last week, momentum is on their side and that can mean a lower scoring game is on the horizon according to the BMR’s top-rated sportsbooks.
The Ravens are going to run the ball but that doesn’t mean they’re going to run effectively. The Colts’ rushing defense has been one of the best in the league so far. The main problem here is while they’re in the right place for assignments, they’re not making tackles on the first try.
The Ravens should still reach over 100 yards but after analyzing the NFL odds, I fear that this game could be lower scoring than many think. For both of these teams, I’m not so sure those defenses can get any worse. The Ravens allowed seven points to the Broncos last week while the Colts are coming off a win for the first time this season.
With the momentum on both sides to start this game, I like the defenses to come up a little bit more in this one.
