Happy Thanksgiving week to readers and NFL bettors, who have a packed schedule of matches to enjoy with their turkey!

Week 12 gave us confirmation that the Kansas City Chiefs still have the knack of being able to win when their season is on the line! Just Amazing!

Similarly, AFC rivals the Baltimore Ravens beat the Jets, but they are not the force they normally are with a fully fit Lamar Jackson. The Buffalo Bills are also far from their predicted best, getting gunned down by the Texans in TNF, as the pre-season AFC three favorites are all still very much alive.

A simple conclusion from the AFC is that this year’s Super Bowl will be won by the NFC Conference winner. Let’s see what the NFL odds Week 13 bring us.

NFL Odds Week 13 At-a-Glance

The Thanksgiving games to watch this week begin with the box office Chiefs visiting Dallas. Our other two games are not so fashionable to watch, but great fun to bet and track the lines, given the poor weather forecasts for home underdogs hovering around key numbers.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys (+3.5)

Thursday, November 27 – 4:30 PM ET

The Kansas City Chiefs visit the Dallas Cowboys in a box-office fixture that anchors the Thanksgiving Thursday slate. The Chiefs, coming off their last gasp win over the Colts to keep their season alive, now have a trip to a recently improved Cowboys franchise that started the campaign.

Dallas itself is coming off a remarkable comeback victory against their divisional Rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys trailed 21-0 in the second quarter, only to beat their great rivals 21-24 with a walk-off field goal.

Dallas has improved defensively since the trade window closed, due to the additions of Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson, as well as the return of previously injured players.

That has slowed down the opposition scoring returns, and this week, with the Chiefs visiting, it is entirely plausible we have a lower-scoring encounter than would have been expected a month ago. Under Mahomes, when control is needed in a game, we know how long Chiefs’ drives can absorb, so seeing totals over 50 surprised me.

Currently, Bovada offers under 51.5 total points at -105. If you agree with this line, keep an eye on the live odds to track line movement and place your bets.

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans (+6.5)

Sunday, November 30 – 1:00 PM ET

The Tennessee Titans might not be the best franchise, but most weeks their price has attracted bettors this NFL season.

That is an interesting dynamic this week with their spread just under +7 at home against the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Jags are known for gritty play, often grinding results rather than dominating opponents. Sunday’s weather in Nashville is forecast to be wet and windy, conditions that typically lower total points and narrow spread lines.

That too will benefit the Titans this week; currently, only BetOnline has +7 to the home dogs at the heavily juiced -122.

The suggestion, even heavily juiced by the +7 on the Tennessee Titans, is the value side to take at BetOnline. If the weather forecast worsens or is likely to affect the line further, consider the +6.5 as an option for Thanksgiving week.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Cleveland Browns (+6.5)

Sunday, November 30 – 1:00 PM ET

A similar scenario to the Titans’ match, with a challenging weather forecast on Sunday in Cleveland: a sharp drop in temperatures and bitterly cold winds. Once again, we have a home franchise loitering just below the key number of 7.

The Browns might not be the prettiest of teams, but there can be no doubting their defense and how difficult it is to break down in close games. Built on how last weekend’s rookie quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, responded to the unfair criticism he faced in his debut the week before, we have an improved team at home against a West Coast franchise.

The San Francisco 49ers’ location is key to their returning quarterback, Brock Purdy, who can be underwhelming in poor weather and freezing conditions on the road.

At the moment, Heritage currently has the best line in the market on the Cleveland Browns at +6.5.

The week’s most anticipated matchup is Kansas City at Dallas, where sharp money may again move the spread towards the Chiefs before kick-off. Timing is crucial, so monitor live NFL odds throughout the week to capture the best numbers.

Our top recommendation: Go under the total points in Dallas; anything 50+ looks too high!
