NFL Week 11 brought one huge takeaway for the Super Bowl market, with the Kansas City Chiefs’ loss on the road to the Denver Broncos putting the Super Bowl favourites in serious jeopardy of making the postseason.

Andy Reid’s charges are on the brink of elimination with their current predicament, leaving them two outside the bubble.

Nevertheless, the live NFL odds Week 12 have the Kansas City Chiefs behind only three franchises in the Super Bowl Betting.

NFL Odds Week 12 At-a-Glance

We kick off NFL week 12 by examining the Chiefs’ chances against the Colts. Then we review how the hapless Falcons, with their growing injury list, are moving their line towards the Saints.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Kansas City Chiefs (-3)

Sunday, November 23 – 1:00 PM ET

As mentioned, the Kansas City Chiefs’ season is in danger, and this week’s homefield encounter against the freewheeling Indianapolis Colts captures the attention of NFL fans for unusual reasons.

Like last week, the sportsbooks expect the Kansas City Chiefs to come good just in time! Yes, they have trodden the tightrope before, but this year, the gun seems early to the head of elite quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The lookahead line was +4.5 and tightened immediately to +3.5 after Sunday, and that squeeze continued through Monday as the line edges to +3.

Full disclosure, the +3.5 at -105 tempted me in early Monday, and if you can get the hook down to -120, that is the look currently as the line continues to fluctuate.

Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints (+1)

Sunday, November 23 – 4:25 PM ET

Examining the Atlanta Falcons’ season so far suggests they are far better than their 3-7 record indicates. The Falcons are on a bleak run of three close, heartbreaking losses, and that misery has been compounded further by their star wide receiver, Drake London, being ruled out with injury in the immediate future.

To make matters worse, the quarterback, Michael Penix Jr., is also out for the season. Penix and London had formed a strong understanding in recent weeks, so losing both is a massive blow to the Falcons.

Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins will take over duties for the time being, and his one performance this year suggested his best days are a long way behind him.

All that unwelcome news has taken the spread down from the open of 3.5 to the Falcons down to close to a pick-em, with the sportsbooks looking unsure as the line hovers between +1 to both sides.

New York Giants vs. Detroit Lions (-10.5)

Sunday, November 23 – 1:00 PM ET

The Giants might be a struggling franchise, but their roster of quarterbacks can be worth the admission fee alone.

With Jaxson Dart leading the way for “Offensive Rookie of the Year” at quarterback before his concussion protocol last week, which brought in Jameis Winston and his cult following as a replacement.

This week, no one is sure who will play between the two, but it does not matter because both guarantee putting numbers on the board. As a 10-point underdog on the road, that is a great scenario to trust the match over the total points.

Keep an eye on the total points at the NFL odds boards, as the lookahead has already reached 50 or above on all sportsbooks except for Heritage Sports, which currently offers over 49 at (-108).
