After taking down the Steelers at home, the LA Chargers (6-4) are back on the road en route to Denver to take on the Broncos in Week 12. Meanwhile, the Broncos (5-5) will try to bounce back from a brutal home loss to the Eagles.
Can the Chargers keep their momentum going? Below, we’ll take a look at the early NFL odds and best sportsbooks to bet with.

The Broncos entered Week 11 as 3-point favorites and are now getting the points for this matchup. As for the Chargers, they were 6.5-point favorites last week and are still the favorites this week. According to Bovada (visit our Bovada Review), LA is a 3-point favorite over Denver with the over/under at 48.
This will be a game to watch on Sunday to see if the Broncos can redeem themselves from an embarrassing 30-13 loss to Philly. QB Teddy Bridgewater was 22 for 36 for 226 yards and zero scores. But he hasn’t been the problem as he’s thrown for 14 touchdowns this season to just 5 interceptions. The defense, especially the run defense, has failed to be consistent and allowed a season-high 214 rushing yards to Jalen Hurts and the Eagles.
Heading into Week 12, Denver’s offense ranks 20th in the NFL. If they can’t get the passing game going again, then Denver will need to rely on its ground game featuring Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams. The good news? The Chargers rush defense is yielding 145.1 yards per contest on the ground.

As for the Chargers, they beat the Steelers 41-37. QB Justin Herbert had an outstanding performance, completing 30 out of 41 of his passes for 382 yards, 3 touchdowns, and one interception. The backfield added 159 yards on the ground and had two of those three touchdowns.
It’s no secret that LA has one of the best offenses in the game and ranks at No. 6 in passing. But similar to Denver, their defense, who is allowing 26.5 points a game, hasn’t been at its best and also lands at No. 6 for most points allowed. And just last week they gave up 27 points in the fourth quarter to the Steelers, almost costing them the game.
Just three weeks ago the Broncos posted 30 points against the Dallas Cowboys, so don’t underestimate their ability to do so in this matchup. The Chargers are a good football team, but they’re young and have been kept the score close.
If Denver can take advantage of their weaknesses and replicate the same offense they used to stomp Dan Quinn, well I wouldn’t put it past them to win this one. Not to mention that they’re coming off extra sleep from their bye week.
