Best NHL Player Props to Consider for April 15 (Archive)
After a successful and profitable NHL player props night last time out, going 2-1, we’re hoping to stay hot to wrap up the hockey action this week.
We have three Florida Panthers players’ props on today’s card so let’s skate right into the NHL odds for tonight.

Jonathan Huberdeau (Panthers)

The Panthers have had an extra day's rest ahead of this home game and given the fact they are the league’s top goalscorers with an average of 4.2 goals per game, we see them putting up at least four goals in tonight’s contest against the Winnipeg Jets. The Jets have averaged exactly 3.1 goals for and against so far this season.

Getting into the league's joint 2nd for the most points this season, Huberdeau has racked up 28 goals and a whopping 77 assists (the most in the NHL). We are targeting the Panthers forward to score two or more points tonight at +100 despite the fact he has failed to do so in his previous three games, scoring just one point in all three.
We see this as a perfect opportunity for Huberdeau to get some points on the board, he also failed to register a single point last time he faced the Jets in a 5-3 Florida win, which was just 1 of his 11 pointless games in 73 played this season.

Aleksander Barkov (Panthers)

Taking a look at Huberdeau’s partner in crime, Barkov is currently projected to have his best season to date, if his goals and assists don’t fade off. Barkov has been the Panthers' top scorer this season and has played fewer games than any of the other top 5 scorers on the roster.
We were liking his chances to score today at +140 but sided with his over 1.5 match points at lesser odds of plus +110, mainly because Barkov has seen 9 assists and just 1 goal in his previous five NHL games.

Barkov also went six games in a row having seen over 1.5 points, up until his previous two games where he only scored 1 assist in both contests.
Interestingly enough, Barkov didn’t register a point either when the Panthers faced the Jets last time in that 5-3 win. Let’s see can both Barkov and Huberdeau make up for it tonight at plus money.

Sam Bennett (Panthers)

We might be laying some juice here but we don’t mind doing so with Sam Bennetts' form in front of the net after he has taken an average of 3.7 shots per game across his previous 10 appearances. He has taken the most amount of shots on the Panthers roster, seven more than Huberdeau despite having played 13 games less.
Bennett managed to take 4 shots last time the Panthers faced the Jets, we expect Florida to keep on rolling on home ice as they have averaged 5 goals per game across their previous five games. The Panthers to win by 6 goals to Winnipeg’s 3.

Our final NHL player prop play is going to be a play that recently let us down. But, we believe, we have a much better chance of cashing tonight as his team is on home ice and we are getting even better odds at +120, compared to just +100 during the week.
Suzuki has been one of the Canadiens' best players this season and has racked up the 2nd most amount of shots on this Montreal team (we say 2nd most because Cole Caufield has played 15 games less and has only taken 12 shots less).

We digress, having gone 5 of 6 games where Suzuki had taken three or more match shots, he has since only seen that total go over in 1 of his previous 5 games.
However, we do like the fact the Canadiens are on home ice and he has seen 3 and 5 shots against this Islanders team so far this season. At +100 we would be staying away but +120 is too much value to not have a play here with our NHL picks.
Montreal to win this matchup 4-2.
