Best NHL Player Props to Consider for April 25 (Archive)
Two of the NHL’s worst teams is the only game on tonight’s card as the 2nd worst team in the Eastern Conference travels to the 3rd worst team in the Western Conference.
Luckily for us, these teams are so bad we expect a high-scoring affair and when they met earlier in the season the Philadelphia Flyers won 4-3. Check out what NHL player props we are targeting tonight.

Travis Konecny (Philadelphia Flyers)
The Flyers have won their previous two games and foreword Travis Konecny has taken 12 shots in both games, 6 shots in each game. We expect him to continue his heavy shooting, especially with so many Flyers players on the injury list.

Konecny has taken the 2nd most amount of shots on this team behind Cam Atkinson, the latter is currently out with a lower-body injury. We usually suggest a solid 1unit play but in this particular case, we suggest a 2unit play on Konecny over 2.5 shots, there is also value on the over 3.5 shots which is coming in around +120 with top-rated sportsbooks.

Jonathan Toews (Chicago Blackhawks)
Although the Blackhawks 2006 1st round pick is having his worst season points-wise, having just scored 35 points so far in 68 games played. His previous worst points season was produced in 2013 when he scored 48 points. The catch? He only played 47 games that year.

Despite this being Toews's worst year to date we are surprisingly happy to lay some juice on him to score a point tonight. He has scored a point in 6 of his last 9 games and we feel with this being towards the end of the season both these teams will be skating a little free tonight having nothing really to play for.
The Blackhawks' previous 5 games have seen an average of 6.1 goals per game whilst the Flyers' previous 5 games averaged 7.1 goals per game. Following the NHL odds, We expect a lot of goals tonight which should give Toews a better chance of cashing.

James van Riemsdyk (Philadelphia Flyers)
Van Riemsdyk has picked up 37 points so far this season, scoring 23 goals and picking up 14 assists. Although his conversion rate this season is at its worst in 10 years (which was just his second full season as an NHL player) we like the fact he has will probably get some more ice time and maybe be asked to step up to the plate a little more tonight with some of the teams better players missing through injury.
Riemsdyk scored a hat-trick of points with 2 goals and 1 assist in the Flyers' 6-3 win over the Canadians just three days ago. He has the ability to step up and get a few points on the board, let’s hope he does so tonight at some plus money.

Alex DeBrincat (Chicago Blackhawks)
We end today's NHL player prop selections with a player that has put a smile on our face already twice this season and we are hoping he can do so again tonight. DeBrincat has been shooting a lot on net in recent games, averaging 3.3 shots per game, and has taken the 2nd highest amount of shots on this Blackhawks team by a longshot, with DeBrincat having taken 260 and the 3rd highest being Seth Jones who has taken just 183 shots.

Another angle we are targeting here is the fact DeBrincat only managed 1 shot in the first game against the Flyers, we suspect he will be much more trigger-happy on home ice tonight.
We are expecting an open game of hockey here and we see the Blackhawks coming away with the win tonight. They are on home ice and the Flyers are decimated with injuries. Although they have been winning games lately, we are going with the Blackhawks to win this one by 5 goals to 3.
