The Wright State Raiders will travel to North Kentucky to take on the Northern Kentucky Norse.
The Norse are on a two-game winning streak but that included a win against IUPUI, where they only scored 60 points in that game.
Northern Kentucky's offense is really struggling this season. The Norse have an effective field goal percentage of 45.7 percent while turning the ball over 20.5 percent of the time. The Norse will earn plenty of offensive rebounds but from deep, Northern Kentucky is shooting 32.2 percent. From inside, it's much worse, with the Norse shooting 43.8 percent from the field.

Wright State isn't the best defense in the world. The Raiders have allowed teams to shoot a 51.7 percent effective field goal percentage while allowing teams to shoot 34.1 percent from three and 52 percent from inside the arc this season.
Still, recently, Wright State has looked much more dominant defensively in conference play. The Raiders are 8-2 in conference play and have a huge win over NC State, on the road, 84-70.
Betting Analysis
Wright State is shooting an effective field goal percentage of 52.1 percent while hitting just 31.4 percent from three and 54.5 percent from inside the arc on the season.
Wright State isn't going to shoot a whole lot of threes, but they will score a whole lot of points with high-quality looks inside. The Raiders will get to take on a defense that allows teams to shoot 52.7 percent from inside the arc on the season.
Wright State is also shooting 77.5 percent from the foul line and likely will get to the line more frequently in this game against Northern Kentucky. Both teams are pretty good at limiting the opposition from the line, but Wright State has been getting there way more frequently.
Northern Kentucky's big thing is turnovers. The Norse have earned 20.9 percent of turnovers per game this season. However, Wright State has limited turnovers to 17.8 percent. If the Raiders can limit the turnovers in this game, it's going to be hard for the Norse to get any kind of stops.

So this is a game between two very different styles. Wright State will look for high-quality shots inside the arc while Northern Kentucky will shoot from long distance at a high rate. That's why Northern Kentucky earns so many offensive rebounds. They get long rebounds that bounce back at them.
But by Northern Kentucky shooting so many three's that's also why Northern Kentucky doesn't get to the line that much. Wright State isn't deep and relies on starters for the most part. So staying out of foul trouble will be crucial for Wright State and I think they'll be able to do that.
