Unfortunately, the offense backing him has not been nearly as impressive. The Angels are near the basement of the AL West. Therefore, Anderson has been credited with just seven wins over his 17 starts.
Cubs Pitching Profile
Veteran Kyle Hendricks (1-6, 7.48 ERA, 1.53 WHIP) is in the twilight of a mediocre career. The sun seemed to be setting fast on the 34-year-old righty. However, an impressive month of June appeared to see him right the ship until his last start on Sunday, when the Brewers hammered him for seven runs over just 3.2 innings in a 7-1 loss to Milwaukee.

This is a pick-your-poison matchup between two lousy teams. However, the Angels have a true-blue stud in Anderson this season. He is only one season removed from his first All-Star selection.
I am not convinced Hendricks will be able to bounce back from his horrific performance against the Brewers and he could be regressing to the mean after a few solid starts. Bet the Angels on Saturday.
