Mount Airy Casino Resort Launches New Website

PARADISE TOWNSHIP, Pa., Aug. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Mount Airy Casino Resort announced today that it has launched a new and improved website at http://www.mountairycasino.com/ . The website offers a preview of what patrons can expect when Mount Airy Casino Resort opens its doors this Fall, including exciting slot action, elegant guest rooms, dining and entertainment options, and resort amenities such as the spa, salon, fitness center and boutique shopping. Visitors to the website can also sign up for the Mount Airy Players Club. As members, patrons will be able to earn rewards from playing the casino's slot machines toward any of the resort's restaurants, retail outlets, entertainment options or hotel rooms. Early sign up will provide express card issuance when Mount Airy Casino Resort opens.

The new, $412 million Mount Airy Casino Resort is on track to complete initial construction and open its doors this Fall, with the casino portion of the resort scheduled to open in October 2007, subject to Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board approval. Upon completion of construction work this year, Mount Airy Casino Resort will offer a casino with 2,500 of the most current slot machines, a 188-room hotel, spa and salon, restaurants, nightclub, retail shopping and meeting space. Online reservations will start in late September. Work on Phase II of the 891-acre site will continue after the opening, with an additional 212 hotel rooms, pool, and a casino with up to 3,000 total slot machines completed by the end of 2008.

Mount Airy Casino Resort will open its doors with 2,500 slot machines, including a mix of reel-spinning machines and the newest themed video slots, as well as progressive jackpots. Patrons will also be able to play the latest video poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette games, with electronic dealers. Slots denominations will range from penny slots to $25 machines. Mount Airy Casino Resort will open with its Super Jackpot promotion. All of the exciting details will be posted on the resort's website in early September.

Dining options at the new resort will include "red steakhouse," offering the highest quality steaks and the freshest seafood, Le Sorelle Cucina offering Mediterranean and Italian delicacies, Louie's Diner featuring All- American dining and The Buffet at Mount Airy. The upscale Gypsies Lounge Nightclub will offer a mix of live bands, DJs and comedy acts. The elegant Glass Bar will serve as a meeting place for guests and a focal point of the casino floor. Resort guests will also have access to the challenging Mount Airy Casino Resort golf course.

Mount Airy Casino Resort will begin taking hotel reservations in late September for its luxurious guest rooms, which will feature pillow-top beds, a 37-inch LCD TV, and Internet access. Options will include King or Double Queen Rooms and spacious King Suites.

Mount Airy Casino Resort expects to employ nearly 900 employees when its doors open. A substantial number of those employees will be residents of Northeast Pennsylvania.
