GTECH Printing Corporation Selected by the Connecticut Lottery as a Provider of Instant-Ticket Print

PROVIDENCE, R.I., July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- GTECH Printing Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lottomatica S.p.A., announced that the Connecticut Lottery Corporation (Connecticut Lottery) has chosen the Company as a provider of instant-ticket printing services, under a three-year contract, commencing August 19, 2007. The contract also provides for two one-year extension options, and is the result of a competitive procurement. GTECH's instant-ticket printing subsidiary, Creative Games International (CGI), will manufacture the tickets at its printing facility in Plant City, Florida.

GTECH subsidiary CGI has been providing instant-ticket printing services to the Connecticut Lottery since 1995. With respect to its contract with the Connecticut Lottery, GTECH expects to receive revenues of approximately $5.0 million to $7.5 million over the three-year contract term.
